About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker and licensed alcohol and drug counselor in the state of Connecticut with 50 years of clinical experience. I supervise graduate mental health interns for many years. I am the president of the Family Intervention Center and in private practice for over 30 years. I am also A Substance Abuse Professional Substance abuse evaluations for safety sensitive employees who have tested positive in the random drug screen working with the federal Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You may expect me to be friendly and welcoming and in a comfortable office setting. Initially we will explore the reason you chose to seek help and to begin to define the issues and jointly develop a treatment plan which will be reviewed every 30, 60 and 90 days and every 90 days thereafter. Should you have the need for additional services, I will facilitate the appropriate referral.
