Hi, I'm Ali. Therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, ask difficult questions, and maybe even laugh along the way. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in both community mental health and private practice. Life can feel overwhelming when past experiences continue to show up as anxiety, stress, or emotional exhaustion. You may notice patterns that don’t make sense, feel stuck in survival mode, or carry a heaviness you can’t quite name. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s beneath the surface, and begin responding to life with more clarity and self-compassion. You don’t have to navigate difficult seasons alone—healing is possible, and support can make the path forward feel more steady and manageable. I also work in afternoons and evenings to ensure everyone gets a chance to be seen.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, grief, and complex relationship dynamics. My approach is supportive, grounded, and tailored to your unique needs. I help clients better understand their emotional patterns, process difficult experiences, and build practical tools for lasting change. I also have experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence and veterans. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward at your own pace.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, deepen their understanding of themselves, and create meaningful, lasting change. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and challenges with self-esteem and self-worth.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I recognize that our identities, relationships, cultural backgrounds, and lived experiences shape how we navigate the world. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals from immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities, providing an inclusive, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
I work with clients to explore patterns of self-criticism, navigate social anxiety, process feelings of guilt and shame, establish healthy boundaries, and develop a stronger sense of self. My therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental, and friendly. My hope is to help my clients understand they are not alone and there is always hope to move forward. If you have a desire to make a positive change in your life, therapy may be the right path for you. .
Welcome! I’m Lanelle P. Laws, LMFT.
For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people navigate trauma, incarceration, depression, anxiety, and LGBTQ+ identity. My passion is empowering individuals to build self-esteem, reclaim their voice, and thrive.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental, comfortable, and encouraging environment grounded in a BIPOC-centered approach. What makes my work different is that I bring both professional expertise and lived experience. I understand what it means to need help and not always feel seen, understood, or represented within the mental health system.
I have dedicated my life to breaking generational cycles of trauma and bringing awareness to the experiences of underserved and marginalized communities. I believe healing begins with awareness...understanding our stories, recognizing our patterns, acknowledging our wounds, and discovering the strengths and power we already possess.
I always say, “I’m not your average therapist!” Not because I’m better, but because my approach has been elevated to reach individuals who may have fallen through the cracks or developed an unhealthy relationship with therapy. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest about where you’ve been, explore where you are, and become intentional about where you want to go.
I know what it feels like to need help and not always know where to find it. That understanding is at the heart of my work.
At Heal(Thy) Self Wellness, healing is more than getting through...it’s getting to know yourself, understand your story, and reclaim your power.
Know Your Story. Heal Your Wounds. Own Your Wellness.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs, including individuals involved in mental health and drug court programs, high school students, veterans, and clients in private practice.
Over the past three years, I have focused on building my private practice with the goal of creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I started my private practice to create greater balance for my family while continuing to pursue my passion for providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves and working toward the life they want.
My experience as a therapist is wide-ranging: I have worked in adult rehab, child development, college counseling, women's trauma recovery, and individual online and in-person work with teens, adults, and seniors. I currently work exclusively with adults and seniors in an online setting.
I found my way to therapy living and working across three continents, through careers in the theatre, and in teaching at all levels up to post-graduate professional development. My clinical and life experiences have helped teach me the value of community, and a strong and dynamic sense of self-worth.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) with nine years of experience working with adolescents (high school–aged and older) and adults facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. I have extensive experience helping adolescents navigate academic stress, social anxiety, identity development, emotional regulation, and the impact of difficult life experiences. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered. I am not only a therapist but a real person. Everyone struggles with mood and thoughts and sometimes we all need help navigating the intensity of these experiences. I hope to be a guide for you as you walk through whatever challenges are keeping you from moving forward. This process will be challenging and will take work, however if you take away one thing from reading this, it is that you are not alone and there are people out there waiting to offer help.
Bienvenidos! Soy Norma. Welcome! I am Norma, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specialized in depression, anxiety and life transitions. Culturally sensitive therapist, committed to help older adults (60+) overcome life challenges utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which focuses on identifying and changing maladaptive thought patterns and replace them with more objective and realistic thoughts. As a Latina woman, I have had the privilege of serving the Spanish-speaking community, and my goal is to create a compassionate, supportive space where older adults could feel safe, understood and empowered.
I am a Doctor of Psychology and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 37 years of experience in the field. During that time, I worked on issues of domestic violence, community violence, and child abuse while on staff at several community, not-for-profit, and governmental agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area (CA). I have been in private practice for over 29 years.
I’m Allan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy—especially for kids—doesn’t have to mean sitting on a couch talking about feelings for 50 minutes. Sometimes the best conversations happen over LEGOs, games, art, play, or while doing something that makes it easier to simply be yourself. Online, it could mean processing trauma, playing online therapeutic games with children (or adults if you want to).
I especially enjoy working with children and teens, including kids who are anxious, overwhelmed, navigating trauma, struggling with big emotions or behaviors, or having a hard time putting what’s happening inside into words. I use play, creativity, humor, and evidence-based approaches to build connection and help kids develop skills without therapy feeling like another place where adults are telling them what to do.
I also work with adults navigating trauma, mood concerns, relationships, identity, major life changes, and life’s more complicated chapters. My style is warm, humorous, direct, and genuinely human. I draw from DBT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, play-based interventions, Theraplay-informed practices, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, adapting therapy to the person in front of me rather than expecting them to adapt to therapy.
My professional experience includes inpatient psychiatry, juvenile justice, child welfare, family services, and community mental health, so I’m comfortable working with both everyday struggles and situations that feel especially complicated.
Whether we meet in my Eureka office or online, my goal is to create a space where you—or your child—feel safe, understood, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. My practice is LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse affirming and neurodiversity-affirming.
And yes, there are credentials behind the LEGOs.

Hi! My name is Crystal Villanueva and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have 14 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and children experiencing the challenges of anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, and intimate partner violence.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the spirit of Humanistic therapy. Humanistic Therapy is based on the core belief that people are good at heart and capable of making the right choices for themselves. In therapy, this belief leads me to focus on each individual’s unique point of view and how this view can impact their choices. It further emphasizes the importance of being our authentic selves to live the most fulfilling life. I strive to create a safe environment to help clients feel comfortable to express their thoughts/emotions. I am genuine, friendly, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and interactive. I believe I am easy to talk to as I am casual in my style, but direct and focused when it comes to our work together.
My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own therapy that I received as a youth and young adult; it was life-changing. I worked with a therapist that was completely accepting and non-judgmental of my faults/shortcomings and helped me work past and accept them. Because of this experience, I wanted to give back and provide the same nonjudgment safe space, and acceptance to others.

Hello, my name is Steven Nelson, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over nine years of clinical experience. While my professional background includes family and relationship therapy, my current focus is working with individuals, helping each person navigate their unique journey toward healing, personal growth, and emotional well-being.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds and professions, including first responders, law enforcement personnel, active-duty military members and their families, nurses, attorneys, and many others facing a wide range of life challenges.
Life's difficulties are a natural part of the human experience. At times, individuals may feel isolated in their struggles or believe that no one truly understands what they are going through. These thoughts can contribute to anxiety, depression, substance use, and other challenges that impact relationships, work, and overall quality of life. When left unaddressed, these difficulties can become overwhelming and interfere with one's ability to move forward.
I believe that meaningful change is possible through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based therapeutic approach. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can gain insight, build effective coping skills, strengthen resilience, and develop healthier ways of managing life's challenges. Together, we can work toward healing, personal wellness, and lasting positive change.
In addition to my Psychological Therapy license, I hold specialties certifications in Drug and Alcohol addiction, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Sex Addiction, Trauma and Domestic Violence prevention.
Welcome — I’m a client centered therapist dedicated to meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you grow into the strongest version of yourself. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help you understand and reframe distressing thoughts, build emotional regulation skills, and create meaningful change in your daily life.
I also incorporate somatic practices informed by the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) to support nervous system regulation, reduce anxiety, and promote overall wellness. These body-based tools can help you reconnect with a sense of safety, grounding, and resilience.
Above all, I offer an accepting and affirming space where you can show up as your full, authentic self. Your story matters, and I look forward to understanding it — and supporting you as you move toward healing, clarity, and wellbeing.
Do you often feel missed by the people in your life? When you look forward does it sometimes feel impossible to experience something new?
As an Authentic Relating Facilitator, Nonviolent Communication Practitioner, and Licensed Therapist, I have a deep desire to attune to you and your world. Together we can illuminate the patterns and roads blocks that you have been experiencing. You need to know where you are to get to where you want to go. We can build a map to get you there.
Once we have a map of where we are headed, we will practice the skills needed to get to your desired life. Some of the skills we will use to navigate the terrain are mindfulness, somatic and mind-body practices, written word exploration, feelings and needs awareness, and vision/goals work.
Ready to take the journey? You know the way, and I’d be honored to accompany you.
