I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering supportive, strength-based therapy to adults and families. I have a B.A. in Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and an M.A. in Counseling with Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Webster University in Irvine, California. Throughout my carrier, I have worked with clients with a variety of issues and from all socio-economic, cultural and religious backgrounds. My experience in College Hospital, a mental health facility, trained me to understand how different mental health issues can be compounded by trauma and substance abuse, as well as preparing me for dealing with clients with variety of mental health problems. I have extensive experience with children, adolescents and adults who had experienced different traumas. Among my areas of experience are anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, women's issues, adolescents' issues and family problems. I utilize many different treatment modalities and treatment techniques depending on the client's needs.
I approach our first session with wanting to know what prompted you to book the session. This is because people usually book a therapy session with an issue in mind, or with a problem to solve. I assure you that if you are motivated to change your mindset and ready to work on yourself, that you will be able to feel more peaceful and calm with just one session, and you will leave knowing that you will be able to solve what is going on.
We tend to be harsh and critical of ourselves thinking that will promote change when that only causes us to procrastinate and feel depression and anxiety. To address this I offer you my book endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on self-forgiveness- find it on Amazon and in Barnes & Noble, "The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness."
I offer you my podcast- "All Things Therapy," which can be found on iTunes and Spotify. It is a mental health and wellness-focused podcast with over 425 episodes related to mental health, fitness, and personal transformation for you to dig into. I intend that the show augments therapy and gives you a resource to look for topics you are facing in the show titles and then listen and apply what is offered and see how that changes things for you.

I have worked in many settings including county-based services, non-profit mental health, foster care, and schools. I believe that everyone knows what's best for them and what their goals are, but sometimes we just get...stuck. My favorite part of my work is having the opportunity to help clients identify what is causing them to struggle and then come up with ideas for navigating life's challenges. All sorts of things can get in the way of us and what we want including difficult relationship dynamics, lack of support, our history, and difficulty managing emotions. I am here to sit with you while we get things sorted out... throughout your journey of living your most fulfilling life.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Masters from the University of Southern California (USC) and have been practicing for 10 years. I help adults struggling with life stressors and burnout and guide them toward becoming the best versions of themselves. I take pride in the method in which I organically bond with my clients, no matter their age or gender. I am not only a therapist but a real person. Everyone struggles with mood and thoughts and sometimes we all need help navigating the intensity of these experiences. I hope to be a guide for you as you walk through whatever challenges are keeping you from moving forward. This process will be challenging and will take work, however if you take away one thing from reading this, it is that you are not alone and there are people out there waiting to offer help.
"Life is a journey, travel it well."
I believe we're all on our own individual journeys of life that sometimes put us in valleys and sometimes on top of hills. When it comes to the valleys, sometimes it's alright to reach out to someone for a little guidance and help.
Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist. One of my favorite parts of my own journey has been navigating the complexities of young adult life stages from college, to work, romance and beyond. But whether or not it's life transitions or just a need for someone to journey along side you during a difficult time, I am here to help.
Hi. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California. I earned my master's degree at the University of San Diego and I have the privilege of practicing for 19 years. I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges by providing a compassionate and supportive environment for clients to explore their concerns and work towards positive change. I use a combination of evidence-based practices with a client-centered approach. My goal is to empower clients to develop healthier relationships and improve their overall well-being. I'm dedicated to fostering a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and respected.
My approach is culturally aware, trauma-informed, and grounded in creating a safe space where clients can explore both personal and generational experiences that have shaped their lives. I work with adult children of immigrants who carry the emotional weight of their parent's journey and the intergenerational trauma shaped by sacrifice and survival. EMDR therapy helps clients process traumatic memories so they no longer feel stuck in survival mode and begin to reconnect with safety, dignity and resilience. Therapy can be a place to understand these dynamics with compassion by honoring our parents and grandparents' sacrifices while creating space to heal from what was passed down.
This is YOUR JOURNEY and YOU DESERVE specialized support …Are you having trouble functioning in your environment while experiencing unproductive thoughts/feelings/actions? Are your emotions working against you; controlling you, keeping you from experiencing the relationships and the life that you want for yourself? Are you trapped inside your mental health diagnosis? So many mental health challenges are rooted in past events and in fears of the future. How would you feel if past events didn't have a hold on your thoughts/feelings/actions in a negative way? How would it feel to be in charge of your responses to thoughts and feelings?
I work with folks experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges. My approach to therapy is individualized to you, as I utilize interventions from multiple theoretical orientations to fit your desired outcomes. I provide an emotionally safe space for sharing your truth. Let me sit beside you as you journey to yourself.
I graduated from CSU, Sacramento with my Master of Social Work and from UC, Davis with my Bachelor's in Psychology.
I support individuals navigating life transitions, aid in deepening self-awareness, develop healthier patterns, and move forward with improved clarity and confidence.
Collaboratively we will explore how past experiences, particularly from childhood, continue to shape thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and impact relationships. Together, we gently uncover and make sense of suppressed or unprocessed experiences, gaining insight into how early experiences continue to influence your present-day circumstances.
I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and patterns of avoidance or coping that no longer serve them. I also work with clients seeking to reduce or change substance use when it has become a way of managing unresolved experiences.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals with complex trauma, including childhood neglect, attachment wounds, and foster care experiences. My trauma-informed, psychodynamic approach integrates insight-oriented exploration with CBT to enhance self-understanding, emotional regulation, and lasting, meaningful change.
I am currently accepting private-pay clients at $200 per session. My practice is full at the moment, but I am happy to add you to my waiting list. Please feel free to reach out, and I will contact you as soon as an opening becomes available.

Being an African American man growing up in Los Angeles, I have faced my share of challenges and obstacles and when stress sets in, I understand that even the smallest pebble can feel like a major Boulder. I come from a traditional family where men and oftentimes women are discouraged from seeking help to deal with life's struggles and stresses. I aim to fill that void and change that narrative.
I empower Men, Women and Families to seek to understand their struggles, anxieties and life challenges and to overcome them.
Greetings. I’m David Joel Miller, licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Professional Clinical Counselor. Before entering private practice, I worked as a substance abuse counselor and for my local County Behavioral Health. I specialize in helping clients navigate life’s transitions and overcome depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
After working as a substance abuse counselor and then a marriage and family therapist, I also completed the requirements for licensure as a professional clinical Counselor. I am also a certified life coach. I think of myself as an indoor mountain climber. I don’t like getting out in the cold and rain, but I do like taking on new challenges. I read a great deal and have learned a lot, but I continue to learn more things each day. Like most people my age, I have the frustrations of coping with technology. But one of my interns taught me how to answer texts, and now my younger family friends are teaching me how to use iPads and streaming videos. I hope that these experiences give me some insight into how things are changing and how some things don’t change at all. I’d like to accompany you as you try to work through your life challenges.
Thirty years of experience as a clinical social worker in health and mental health settings have developed my compassion, knowledge, and skills to help people find a path toward growth and a more satisfying life. My approach is pragmatic and empathetic, using treatment knowledge and skills to help you discover a new way of relating to yourself, to others, and to your experiences. I can support you in the process of change, which most humans find uncomfortable and challenging even when we know it is necessary for growth.
Hi! I'm Lesly.
I’m a first-generation Latina LCSW and I help people who feel tired of being the “strong one,” overwhelmed by overthinking, or stuck between family expectations, culture, and who they want to be. Many of my clients come in feeling unseen, burnt out, or weighed down by old wounds that keep resurfacing. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone and you’re in the right place.
I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity challenges. My goal is to offer a warm, affirming space where your story matters and your healing feels possible :)
What if you had a space designed entirely for you? A space where you can slow down, be deeply understood, and experience meaningful, lasting change. Therapy can offer more than relief, it can offer transformation.
