LCSW, 5 years of experience
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I earned my Master’s degree from California State University, Northridge, and have been practicing in the field for five years. I am a passionate and results-driven professional dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals through personalized support and expert guidance. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am committed to providing inclusive and culturally sensitive care. My goal is to give a voice to the voiceless and ensure every client feels seen, heard, and empowered.
In the first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming space to share their goals, challenges, and questions. We’ll explore where they are now, where they’d like to be, and start mapping out a personalized plan to move forward.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to deeply listen, create a safe and supportive environment, and offer clear, actionable guidance. I’m compassionate yet goal-oriented, which helps clients feel both understood and empowered to make meaningful progress.
I’m best positioned to serve clients who are motivated to grow, open to self-discovery, and ready to take actionable steps toward their goals.
In my work with clients, I often incorporate a psychodynamic approach to help uncover patterns and unconscious processes that may be influencing current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By exploring early relationships, unresolved conflicts, and internal struggles, we work together to increase self-awareness and create lasting change.
I have used CBT in my practice, having worked with individuals across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. The strength of CBT lies in its structured, goal-oriented approach that empowers clients to understand and modify their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I’ve found that when clients understand what they’re going through they are more empowered, engaged, and better able to apply the tools learned in therapy.
My experience with this treatment method has spanned a range of context. Working with families affected by trauma, behavioral issues in children or adolescents, parent-child conflict, and so on.
My approach to therapy is grounded in trauma-informed care, recognizing the profound impact that trauma can have on the mind, body, and relationships. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where clients feel seen and respected.
