I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who is passionate about mental health and providing transformative healing for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I have been in practice for 7 years providing clients with guidance towards self-discovery and resiliency using evidence-based therapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy, and motivational interviewing. I am currently working with individuals 18+.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session we will discuss symptoms and concerns that brings you in to seek services. I think meeting someone for the first time can be somewhat uncomfortable, and that is why I will make sure I work with you by making you feel comfortable and answering any questions you bring to the session. I will collaborate with you in our first session to establish the goals you have in mind, including what you hope to get out of the next following sessions. If you are unsure of your goals, I gladly guide you towards identifying those goals based on what you disclose in our first session.

I am dedicated to keeping up with research and best practices to provide clients with the highest quality care.

I aim to empower clients by providing psycho education and coping tools that can lead to personal growth and recovery. The clients who seek help with learning effective coping strategies to handle problems or stressors will benefit from my treatment modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused brief therapy. Clients who are prepared to make a change and are open to learning more about their strengths and abilities will see positive growth in their treatment with me.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize evidence-based treatment modality such as CBT to help clients find effective ways to shift thoughts to more positive thinking using cognitive restructuring techniques.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I also utilize solution focus brief treatment modality to help clients shift their energy and time spent on their problem and instead focus on effective solutions that includes their strengths, while also learning problem-solving skills.
Grief Therapy
My process in session with clients dealing with grief and/or loss includes educating and preparing them for what they will experience moving forward while also acknowledging the impact their grief/loss has had on them. My process is to meet the client where they are at by being patient and present alongside them.
