Hello, I’m Sascha, If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important step toward prioritizing your mental health. Beginning therapy can bring up a mix of emotions...empowerment, uncertainty, even hesitation—and all of that is valid. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes work in county-based services, nonprofit mental health, foster care, and school settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals across a wide range of needs and life circumstances. I believe that people generally have an internal sense of what they need and where they want to go, but at times can feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. My role is to help you gain clarity around what may be contributing to that feeling and to work collaboratively with you to develop practical, meaningful ways to navigate challenges. Life stressors such as relationship dynamics, limited support systems, past experiences, and difficulties with emotional regulation can all impact our ability to function in the ways we want. In our work together, I aim to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore these areas and move toward greater stability, insight, and fulfillment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will take time to get to know one another. I will ask about your current challenges, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together so we can begin establishing clear and meaningful goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe my strengths as a clinician include being authentic, direct, and able to meet clients where they are, allowing for a grounded and collaborative therapeutic process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have worked with all age groups, who present with a wide variety of social and emotional difficulties. I enjoy supporting clients in navigating life transitions as life happens and inevitability pushes us to grow and change. Change can be intimidating and uncomfortable, especially in the beginning but being able to adapt is an essential part of being a human. My favorite populations include adolescents, young adults, and middle-aged women. I find that Neuro-diverse populations are also enjoyable to work with.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Early attachment experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and to others. By reflecting on these patterns, we can develop greater awareness and make more intentional choices in how we engage with the world, fostering more authentic and supportive connections with ourselves and those around us.

Relational

Our primary attachments, as well as relationships we experience and participate in throughout our lives, influence the way we relate to ourselves and the world we live in. By reflecting on our early experiences and past relationships, we can use this insight to be intentional in the way that we connect with the world we live in, in a way that allows us to cultivate and nurture authentic and supportive connections with ourselves and those around us. We are shaped by our social world and relationships, having good relationships with family and friends is essential for our wellbeing and self-esteem. I strive to create meaningful client relationships with each person who I work with so that you feel safe, secure, and comfortable to explore challenges, and are able to develop the courage to create meaningful change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I believe that change is a constant part of life, and while it can be both exciting and challenging, it also creates opportunities for growth. I view each client as the expert in their own life. Often, the insight needed to navigate challenges already exists within you, and my role is to help you access that understanding and move forward with greater clarity and intention.
