Hello, I'm Sascha, Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the field of Mental Health for 10+ years. I have worked in many settings including county-based services, non-profit mental health, foster care, and schools. I believe that everyone knows what's best for them and what their goals are, but sometimes we just get...stuck. My favorite part of my work is having the opportunity to help clients identify what is causing them to struggle and then come up with ideas for navigating life's challenges. All sorts of things can get in the way of us and what we want including difficult relationship dynamics, lack of support, our history, and difficulty managing emotions. I am here to sit with you while we get things sorted out... throughout your journey of living your most fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect us to take some time to get to know each other, for me to ask you about your struggles, strengths, and what you are hoping to get out of our time together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths as a provider are that I am authentic, to the point, and able to meet clients where they are at.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I have worked with all age groups, who present with a wide variety of social and emotional difficulties. I enjoy supporting clients in navigating life transitions as life happens and inevitability pushes us to grow and change. Change can be intimidating and uncomfortable, especially in the beginning but being able to adapt is an essential part of being a human. My favorite populations include adolescents, young adults, and middle-aged women. I find that Neuro-diverse populations are also enjoyable to work with.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Our primary attachments influence the way we relate to ourselves and the world we live in. By reflecting on our early experiences, we can use this insight to be intentional in the way that we connect with the world we live in, in a way that allows us to cultivate and nurture authentic and supportive connections with ourselves and those around us.

Relational

We are shaped by our social world and relationships, having good relationships with family and friends is essential for our wellbeing and self-esteem. I strive to create meaningful client relationships with each person who I work with so that you feel safe, secure, and comfortable to explore challenges, and are able to develop the courage to create meaningful change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I believe that the only thing in life that stays the same is that change is constant. Change and transition can be exciting, and challenging at the same time. I also believe that the person who knows how to solve your problems best, is you. The answer to many of life's challenges lie within yourself and my passion is helping others uncover their truth.
