Hello! I'm Kimberly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 30 years of experience. I’m passionate about supporting women as they navigate life’s many challenges. Whether you’re dealing with a big transition or simply wanting to create meaningful change, I’m here to help guide you. I work with women of all ages—from 25 to 75—and am dedicated to helping you find clarity and strength through whatever you're facing.
We’ll spend our first session or two collaborating to set one or two treatment goals that align with your needs. I see goals as guideposts on your journey, helping to keep our work focused and meaningful.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I’ve been in the field for nearly 30 years, and during that time I’ve worked in a variety of settings—everything from inpatient psychiatric units to telehealth—which has given me a broad perspective on what people go through and how to help. I use a blend of approaches like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, depending on what fits best for you. I also value cultural sensitivity and always aim to meet you where you are, so we can work together toward the changes you’re hoping for.
I specialize in supporting women through life’s various ups and downs. Therapy is a powerful tool for growth and transformation, and our work will center on the issues that are most important to you. I’ll help you discover practical skills that make a difference in your daily life.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and problematic behaviors. Together, we examine the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions, and develop practical strategies to promote more balanced thinking and healthier coping skills. I also guide clients in applying CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and thought tracking to support lasting change in their daily lives.
I incorporate a mindfulness-based therapy approach to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without judgment. This practice encourages clients to stay present, reduce reactivity, and respond to stressors with greater clarity and calm. By cultivating mindful awareness, clients can develop emotional regulation, improve focus, and enhance their overall well-being.
