Hello. I am James Moore and I have 57 years of experience as a clinical psychologist in a variety of settings including institutional, academic and private practice. I developed and ran a head injury treatment facility in Carbondale, Illinois, but have spent my last 36 years in private practice in Miami, Coral Springs and The Villages, Florida.
I have specialized in psychological evaluation, neuropsychology, and forensic psychology. geriatric psychology and individual psychotherapy. My modes of treatment include psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and, when called for, some degree of psychoanalytic therapy. After 3 years in academia and 8 years as a forensic psychologist, I moved my family to Miami in 1986 and joined a large private practice firm. Three years later, I was entirely on my own and have been so ever since.
I look forward to utilizing my unique experience to assist new clients to achieve a more satisfying and successful quality of life.
Has everything looked like it’s going well on the outside, but inside you feel like you’re hanging on by a thread? Are you waking up tired regardless of how much sleep you get? Do you see yourself as “the fixer” or “the caretaker” with your loved ones, but feel as though you don’t have any energy left when it comes to taking care of yourself? Does it feel selfish to take care of yourself? Does the thought of disappointing others and telling a loved one “no” fill you with dread?
Old belief patterns don’t have to keep you feeling powerless anymore. Reaching out is a big first step in prioritizing your needs. I am committed to supporting you with warmth and compassion every step along the way. Together we can examine ways your old narrative no longer serves you and help foster a more peaceful and purposeful way of living.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a PhD in Psychology and have been providing counseling services since 2001. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with individuals who have experienced trauma, including sexual assault, domestic violence, and other significant life challenges. I am passionate about providing compassionate, trauma-informed, person-centered care that helps clients feel supported, empowered, and understood as they navigate healing and personal growth.
I believe in wellness for the whole person — emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. In addition to my work as a therapist, Clinical Director, and professor, I enjoy working out and competing in bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions. Fitness has become an important part of my own wellness journey and helps me stay energized, grounded, and motivated both personally and professionally. I truly value the opportunity to walk alongside others as they work toward healing, resilience, and creating a life worth living.
I am so glad you are here. It takes courage to reach out and I want you to feel welcomed from the very first moment. You deserve a space where you can breathe, feel supported, and be met with genuine care.
Clients often tell me they feel comfortable with me quickly. I show up with warmth, calm presence, and real curiosity about who you are. I listen closely to your words and also to the emotions and meaning underneath. There is room here for laughter, honesty, vulnerability, and relief.
I work from a strengths based and holistic perspective because you are so much more than your struggles. I see your resilience, creativity, and the ways you have cared for others and pushed through when life felt heavy. I help you reconnect with those strengths so you can feel more grounded and confident in yourself.
I also support the mind body connection. As a registered yoga instructor and mindfulness practitioner, I guide gentle grounding practices and nervous system awareness when it feels helpful. These tools can create internal steadiness that supports healing long after you leave the session.
Professionally, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with years of experience supporting people through anxiety, stress, grief, and life transitions. My background in clinical leadership means I know how to remain steady in complex emotional moments while holding hope when things feel uncertain.
I believe therapy works best when we do it together. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk beside you with empathy, encouragement, and the belief that change is possible. You do not need to have everything figured out. Come as you are. Here, you can feel seen and supported as you move toward a life that feels meaningful, aligned, and fully yours.
Hi, I’m Maria a Licensed Professional Counselor with twenty years of experience, including more than fourteen years supporting military service members and their families. I specialize in working with adults who look put together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck under the surface. Many of my clients are used to carrying everything alone, pushing through stress, and holding themselves to impossible standards. In our work together, we slow things down, make sense of the patterns that keep you tense or on edge, and build tools that actually fit your life. My goal is to help you move from survival mode into a steadier, more grounded way of living where you feel clear, capable, and supported, not stretched thin.
I am a licensed trauma therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant who helps adults heal from PTSD, trauma related symptoms, and trauma rooted anxiety and depression. My style is warm, direct, and highly practical. I pair EMDR with CBT and parts informed work so you get both symptom relief and lasting change. I often work with veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and high achieving professionals. Sessions are available via secure telehealth in NV, WA, NM, and ID.
Hello!
I'm a blind, loving, funny, and sincere person. I'm imperfect and have learned to be (mostly) okay with it. Growing up with a degenerative eye disease left me with a weight on my chest of fighting what my body was doing and trying to convince everyone I was fine, when I wasn't. I think we're all trying to hide ourselves from ourselves and from others and it is complete nonsense. Every part of you is welcome, even the parts you hate about yourself or that others find difficult. Often the parts of us we fight against are there for a very good reason. Once we show those parts love and respect we can start to be okay.
I'm not just a therapist. I'm a coffee enthusiast who starts each day with a pour-over and a quiet moment before the world wakes up. I'm an outdoor lover who believes fresh air and moving my body are non-negotiable whether that's a hike, 4x4ing, hitting the resort/ backcountry, a walk with the family, or just standing in the backyard feeling the sun. And I'm a family man. A partner. A parent. Someone who knows what it's like to be pulled in ten directions and still want to show up fully for the people around me.
That life outside the office isn't separate from my work. It's what keeps me refreshed, grounded, and able to come back to this chair with presence and energy. I don't just talk about balance I live it, imperfectly and intentionally.
The work I've done reflects that same groundedness.
I've been shaped by a wide range of experiences: residential treatment settings where the stakes were high and the progress was hard-won. Outpatient practice where life happens between sessions jobs, kids, marriages, breakdowns and breakthroughs. I've sat with clients across the entire lifespan, from geriatric patients navigating legacy and loss to teens just beginning to ask who they are.
That breadth taught me something: suffering doesn't discriminate by age, and neither does healing. Whether you're sixteen or sixty, whether you're processing trauma or just trying to feel less alone, the fundamentals are the same. You want to be seen. You want to be understood. And you want a way forward that actually fits your life.
That's what I'm here for.
I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, safe, and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through connection.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the emotional weight of caregiving, relationships, and work stress. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward — and together we create space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and build tools that actually fit your life.
Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths, deepen self-compassion, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentic. I strive to create a space that is nonjudgmental, affirming, and supportive of your unique story
I am a licensed professional counselor with experience working with mental health, trauma, addiction, grief, and couples counseling. I am here to walk alongside you and see the world as you see it. I believe that with support, people can change their beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors in order to live productively and joyfully. It is my hope to build trust in a therapeutic relationship by providing safe and nonjudgmental therapy. My desire is for you to feel comfortable in relating your goals and needs. I will collaborate with you in understanding what will work best for you to reach those goals and get your needs met. Through knowledge, encouragement, support, and relationship, I will help you reach your full potential.
I’m a warm, direct, humorous, and creative therapist who helps adults understand their emotional patterns and build tools that support meaningful change. My background includes work in schools, hospitals, crisis services, and community‑based care, which shapes the grounded and practical way I show up in session. I focus on helping clients make sense of what’s happening in their mind and body so they can move through life with more clarity, confidence, and alignment.
Congratulations on taking this important step toward prioritizing your mental well-being! My name is Melissa Billings, and I am fully and independently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Minnesota, Utah, Washington State, and Wisconsin.
I am here to support you using evidence-based approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, among others. I provide a safe, affirming space where everyone is welcome, including individuals of all ethnicities, biological sexes, sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions.
I’m deeply committed to supporting you in finding your inner peace and balance. This isn’t just about therapy—it’s about building a partnership where your voice matters, your goals guide us, and your progress is celebrated.
In our time together, you’ll always have the freedom to speak openly, ask questions, and explore your emotions. We’ll set meaningful goals collaboratively, ensuring that every step we take is rooted in what matters.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Educator who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. Much of my work focuses on supporting women, children, adolescents, and families as they work through trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the everyday stresses that can impact emotional well-being.
Outside of my professional work, I am a proud single mama to five children and a grandmother to two wonderful grandchildren. My life is full, busy, and deeply grounded in family and community.
I am also an equestrian and love spending time outdoors caring for my animals and gardening. I am currently training several of my animals—including my pig, goat, miniature horse and mule, cat, and dogs—to serve as emotional support animals that I hope to thoughtfully incorporate into therapeutic experiences in the future. I believe that connection with animals and nature can be incredibly healing and can offer unique opportunities for comfort, regulation, and emotional growth.
These personal experiences help shape my approach to therapy. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore their experiences, and work toward meaningful healing and growth.

Hi. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington. Perspective clients need to know I genuinely care about the people I work with, and have a passion for joining people on their journey to a new self. The fact that you are searching for a therapist shows you would like something to change. This is very brave.
We often lose perspective about situations and how we deal with them. This can be a result of things we have buried from our past, or relationships that did not support us in the way we need. I will give you a safe and supportive place to look at your unwelcome patterns and find a way to make your journey more fulfilling.
My counseling focus is on adolescents, adults, and elders (65+). My philosophy is client-centered, Mindfulness based, trauma informed, and goal oriented. I have training and experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. My areas of focus include trauma, attachment issues, difficulties with distress tolerance and emotional regulation, along with families dealing with Alzheimer's.
Your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are what make you who you are. As we work together to understand these parts of you, we will find a way to alter those thoughts that no longer work for you and strengthen those that are helping you become who you wish to be.
I have extensive experience in serving adults, adolescents, children, and families by providing mental health counseling, domestic violence prevention, substance use prevention, addiction recovery, career counseling, family support, career coaching and education. I enjoy live theater productions, watching classic movies, reading biographies, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with family. I will look forward to working with you soon.
I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health therapist. I primarily work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family or relationship difficulties. Many clients seek treatment because they feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or unsure how to manage the challenges they’re facing.
My approach is structured and evidence‑based. I focus on helping you understand the factors contributing to your symptoms and developing clear, practical strategies for change. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness‑based interventions to support emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and build healthier behavioral patterns.
Accountability is an important part of the work we do together. I will support you, but I will also provide direct feedback and encourage consistent follow‑through on the changes you identify as important. Progress requires active participation, and I work best with clients who are ready to take responsibility for implementing new skills and strategies between sessions.
My Style is:
Straightforward – Honest and clear, but always respectful.
Practical – Tools that work in everyday life, not just theory.
Explorative – Space to reflect deeply in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Encouraging – Support that helps you feel capable, validated, and motivated to change.
Accountability-focused – Growth comes from owning your choices and committing to real change.
This works well if you are willing to:
• Look at your own patterns and find areas for growth and change
• Practice new skills between our sessions and create a plan for change
• Stay open to feedback, exploration, and trying approaches that fit your unique needs

Hello and welcome to my practice! I believe that mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected. Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It's about how you drive, not where you are going. I am here as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in practice since 2012, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, women's issues, and parenting. I am proud of you for taking the first step towards therapy. Change can be hard and taking this first step is not always easy. Hi, I am a licensed mental health counselor who focuses on identity transformation! I work with those who feel the achievements are there, yet still feels misaligned in what you do versus who you truly are. This identity crisis shows up in subtle ways - the anxiety that greets you before meetings, the exhaustion from maintaining the "strong Black woman" image, the longing for relationships where you can finally be real.
I want you to know that transformation is possible. That having more alignment and authenticity in the way you show up is possible. In our work together, we'll move beyond just understanding why you code-switch or people-please and help your system find its way back to your truth using Internal Family Systems therapy.
Imagine walking into any room fully grounded in who you are. Picture making decisions from your core self, not from old wounds. It's time to transform your relationship with yourself - to heal those outdated identities and create a life that truly feels like yours.

I work especially well with women who are in the “messy middle” of life: between who they have been, what others expect, and what they may want next. Faci
Are you a woman facing big decisions? Navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, parenting difficulties, career pivots? My background shapes how I approach therapy with clients facing such women's issues, which includes years as a licensed mental health counselor, but also as serving in senior leadership within higher education, supporting clients as a transformational coach, and balancing parenting along the way. This mix (and juggling act) gives me a practical understanding of how emotional wellbeing is often shaped by work, caregiving, relationships, and major life responsibilities.
Many of the woman I work with are thoughtful, capable, and carrying more than others realize. They often appear highly functional on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, depleted, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. I help clients slow things down enough to understand what is happening beneath the surface, identify what needs attention, and move forward in ways that feel grounded and realistic.
I am licensed in Washington and Rhode Island, am a nationally certified counselor, and hold a doctorate in adult and higher education. While my colleagues may call me Dr. T, in counseling I'm just Melanie. I'm here to support you, help you find clarity and calm, offer guidance, levity, and a safe space for tears, perimenopausal rage, or a well placed curse word. Together, we find solutions to the barriers keeping you from your next chapter.
Hi, I’m Emy Carlson.
I’m a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Integrative Health Therapist practicing in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Washington, and Oregon (MS, LPC-MH, LPCC, LPC, NCC, CCTP, QMHP). I’m also a Board-Approved Supervisor in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa.
I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing. I integrate whole-person strategies that support mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
I believe therapy should feel safe, empowering, and purposeful—a space where you can heal, grow, and reconnect with your authentic self.
You carry big responsibilities, and it’s been heavy for too long.
I work with executive leaders, founders, and high performers in demanding professional roles including those who are partners and parents by turning feelings of overwhelm, perfectionism, daily stressors, and poor work/life balance into clarity.
Together we’ll surface blind spots, remove roadblocks, and build workable boundaries so you can lead well at work, show up at home, and feel grounded in your relationships. Constant stress and exhaustion aren’t the cost of success. Drive and focus don’t make you immune to anxiety, burnout, sleepless racing thoughts, shame, manipulation, family complexity, or the echo of old injuries.
Excellence doesn’t require perfection and saying no is okay.
With over a decade of experience across multiple states, I blend psychotherapy with practical solutions by offering confidential, results-focused care tailored to your unique world.
I also provide corporate mental health training, parent coordination, custody evaluations, co-parenting, reunification, and other psycho-legal consultations all delivered with discretion, expertise, and a deep understanding of high-stakes environments.
If you’re ready for focused, actionable support, I’m here to help.

I received my Masters from Indiana University and have been practicing for 29 years in multiple settings. I work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, aging, life changes, transition and adjustment across the life-span. I utilize several modalities in therapy but am goal focused to help clients find the balance they are seeking with new tools for now and in the future.
I try to provide a safe and private space where someone can process their feelings and emotions and discuss the difficulties they are experiencing. I like to help people find solutions to the problems they are having and help them continue living their lives without their traumas or their past weighing them down. Every person deserves to live life to the fullest.
You can search my website on www.collinscounselingcenter.org.
Beginning May 1st, 2026, only Thursday 9-3pm will be available for in-office times.
Welcome, I am Feven!
Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I help individuals manage anxiety, depression and burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach; addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit.
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the different challenges they face and build coping skills to create more fulfilling and holistic life experiences. From my journey, I can personally attest to the power of support, in its many forms. This support goes beyond clients I service but also to their families and communities. I believe that mental wellness isn’t just individualistic; but includes the ecosystem surrounding the person. My praxis acknowledges and aims to support the village needed by all.
I’m also passionate about the transformative impact of safe and brave spaces for those who often experience exclusion. My career has afforded me opportunities to build trust with LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, Latina/o/x, and Refugee communities across the nation. It is a personal privilege to center wellness and holistic care for all as ‘self-care is a radical form of resistance.’
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, trauma, PTSD, self-acceptance, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion, empathy and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back.
Let's work together!
