New to Grow
I have 15 years experience working with a wide breadth of individuals. I have a speciality in helping individuals with eating disorders, negative body image, anxiety, and depression. I use an integrative strengths-based approach with CBT, psychodynamics and Family Systems techniques. I can help you replace self-destructive behaviors with acceptance and self-love, while offering practical tools for managing emotions and challenging negative thoughts. My approach focuses on building resilience and fostering self-compassion for lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
From our first session you will get a warm, curious and action oriented experience. I like to learn as much as I can in order to have expectations set and you ready for the rewarding, yet challenging, therapeutic journey ahead.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I like to develop deep, trusting relationships for continued care through out whatever is in your path. I can gently challenge people to face themselves and also sit through the more delicate parts of the human experience with deep compassion. Finding that balance is something I see as contributing to greater well being for the individuals I see.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone challenged with life at any phase. They may be struggling with body image, anxiety, or mood disruptions and feel trapped by their thoughts and behaviors. They want to break free from mental traps, build healthier relationships, and develop self-compassion. They're ready to challenge negative thinking patterns and learn practical tools for managing intense emotions. Whether dealing with new or old family dynamics, life transitions, or negative self esteem they seek not just symptom relief but deeper meaning and purpose in their lives, wanting to grow into the person they truly want to become.
Strength-Based
The power of believing small steps build into bigger accomplishments. I've seen it happen through the last 15 years of practice.
