New to Grow
I am a compassionate and grounded therapist who is dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with clarity, purpose, and a greater sense of control. I bring a supportive, collaborative presence to each session, creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences. My work is guided by a strong belief in personal responsibility, resilience, and each individual’s capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful, lasting change over time.
The first session is a welcoming, conversation-focused space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. Rather than focusing heavily on paperwork, I prioritize getting to know you—what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and what feels most important right now. Together, we’ll start identifying your goals and exploring what’s working and what’s not, while building a sense of comfort, trust, and collaboration from the very beginning.
My greatest strengths as a therapist include my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I am skilled at helping clients gain clarity by gently challenging unhelpful patterns while remaining supportive and collaborative. I bring a calm, grounded presence to sessions, along with a practical, goal-oriented approach that helps clients move toward meaningful and lasting change.
My ideal clients are individuals navigating complex emotional experiences such as grief, trauma, and loss, and who are ready to engage in meaningful, growth-oriented work. I have a special interest in supporting those impacted by aviation incidents, as well as siblings of individuals with disabilities who may carry unique emotional responsibilities and challenges. I work best with clients who are open to exploring their experiences, building self-awareness, and developing practical strategies to regain a sense of control, connection, and purpose in their lives.
Reality Therapy
I use Choice Theory and Reality Therapy to help clients focus on what they can control—their thoughts and actions in the present. Together, we explore your wants and needs, evaluate whether your current behaviors are helping you meet those goals, and identify practical changes that can lead to a more satisfying life. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and focused on building responsibility, self-awareness, and effective decision-making.
