I provide trauma-informed, client-centered counseling with an emphasis on somatic awareness and nervous system regulation. Clients often seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or constrained by patterns that developed in response to past experiences. My role is to support you in building safety, increasing emotional and physiological regulation, and developing the capacity for meaningful and sustainable change. My approach is integrative and outcome-focused, combining relational therapy with solution-focused and body-based interventions. Treatment is collaborative and tailored to your goals, with attention to symptom reduction, improved functioning, and increased flexibility in how you respond to internal and external stressors. Somatic therapy is a central component of my work. With training in yoga therapy, massage therapy, and body-oriented psychotherapy, I incorporate interventions such as grounding techniques, breath regulation, mindfulness practices, guided imagery, and gentle movement when clinically appropriate and with your consent. These approaches support increased interoceptive awareness, reduced trauma-related activation, and a more regulated nervous system. This work is particularly effective for individuals experiencing trauma and PTSD symptoms, anxiety, chronic stress, and disordered eating. I help clients identify and modify patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior that no longer support well-being, while also addressing the underlying physiological responses that maintain these patterns. Therapy is relational, structured, and often short- to medium-term, though length of treatment varies based on individual goals and clinical needs. Progress toward goals is reviewed regularly to ensure treatment remains effective and aligned. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and participate actively in the therapeutic process. Transparency, collaboration, and respect are foundational to my work.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session clients can expect questions and gathering information for a Mental Health Assessment. Clients will discuss why they are seeking help, their family of origin, health history, and alcohol and drug history. Most of the times it takes a couple of sessions to gather the information; as the more information that is available the more I can help.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are authenticity, wisdom, creativity, and the ability to listen.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is a woman in her 30's who is navigating the challenges of relationships and career. My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Through mindfulness and an assessment of values, I am able to support clients in achieving their goals and go for their dreams. The behaviorist component of ACT supports clients in changing their behavior to get more of what they want.

Strength-Based

Through Strength-Based treatment I support clients in building on their strengths, going for their dreams, and achieving their goals. Clients assess their values and sharpen their perception about what they want and what is available to them through building on strengths.
