Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I love to utilize CBT, CPT, trauma informed care (TIC) and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.

I found the therapist to be very direct, straightforward, and blunt in her approach. The session felt emotionally intense at times, but I appreciated her honesty and willingness to address difficult topics head-on rather than avoiding them. As with any first session, I think there is still a lot of context and relationship history left to unpack, but overall I appreciated her roughness and transparency. We have already booked our next session and are looking forward to continuing the process.

I really enjoyed the presence she brought on the very first session and how natural it felt to talk, like having a regular conversation to a friend and feeling seen, supported, and validated. I confidently scheduled my next appointment right after the first one ended

What a warm and bright person! Had a great time speaking with her in regards to opening lines of communication and being able to process trauma. It was an introductory session but we were immediately brought in as if we'd known each other for a long time. I'll be scheduling another session!
