Hi!
I am Alyson Davis, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a millennial and military brat that grew up in Northern Virginia. Currently, I reside in Maryland and have licenses in both Maryland and Virginia. I am taking clients in both states via telehealth. For undergrad, I attended the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!) and for my graduate education and clinical training I practiced at Valdosta State University.
The therapeutic modality I use the most often is Narrative Therapy. Using Narrative Therapy, I help clients change the problem stories in their heads to preferred stories to improve their behaviors, relationships, and life outlook. With this practice, I enjoy using journal prompts, metaphors, and media. I am not a trained Christian therapist, but I do identify as a Christian, and enjoy using all religion and spirituality in my practice, but it is not required. I am LGBTQ-IA+ affirming and believe in honoring and creating space for all identities in session.
A personal joy of mine is working with Black clients who are first-timers in therapy to work on destigmatizing mental health and healing the impacts of white supremacy. More specifically, I prioritize supporting Black clients who grew up in predominantly White spaces who did not feel "Black enough."
My favorite problem to work with is when someone says "I'm stuck," to help a client not only get moving but move in a healthy direction.
In my personal life, I am married, am a mother to a sickle cell warrior son, have a wonderful bonus-daughter and playful Aussiedoodle. That being said, I have an appreciation for working with blended families and exploring dating post-divorce. For self-care I enjoy writing fiction, listening to 90's and 2000s R&B, and watching romcoms. Looking forward to helping your healing journey.

I am here to help you overcome challenges that you are currently facing. Our life journey may surprise us with many joyful and positive experiences, but there are certainly times when we stumble upon disappointments, stressful life events, health concerns, loss of a loved one, or traumatic experiences that bring us down to our knees and make us question the fairness of life itself and our place in it. If you can relate, you have come to a right place and I applaud you for finding strengths to reach out for help.

My background is a clinical social worker working full time in medical social work so I witness people's life change every day in major ways. This has lead me to prioritize self care and build intentional ways to help myself and others manage stress. My top self-care activities include traveling, spending quality with family and friends, seeking out thrilling adventures, discovering new RNB music, and walking. I'm hopeful that we can identify some coping skills that work for you.

Greetings! My name is Brian. I am a licensed counselor in Pennsylvania. I have worked with both long-term and short-term clients in residential treatment and outpatient settings since 2010. My straightforward approach includes aspects of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Counseling. I encourage clients to think deeply about the underlying feelings that drive their actions to release pain.
Thank you for taking the time to read my intro.
I have always had the conscious goal of supporting others with being able to overcome their hardships and internal challenges that prevents them from being successful. I am a firm believer that in life we have all experienced some type of challenge that will impact our thoughts and emotions. For some people the challenge is more difficult than others and they will experience greater hardship and internal challenges that will send them on a spiral to the unknown. Being a therapist has always been a desire of mine to support others with understanding their thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors associated with how they feel.
My name is Jennifer Grant. I am a Licensed clinical social worker. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through a wide range of life challenges. I work with adult clients offering a warm, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy.
My areas of focus include helping clients navigate difficult life transitions, manage anxiety, cope with depression, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and develop effective tools for lasting change.
Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply seeking greater balance and well-being, I am here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future.
I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. I will solicit feedback regularly during sessions for takeaways to gauge progress and curate treatment interventions based on what is most engaging and productive for the individual client.

Hello! I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel truly seen and heard. With over a decade of experience supporting people through life’s biggest transitions, from the joys and challenges of maternal health to the complexities of geriatric care, I’ve learned that while every story is unique, our need for connection is universal. I believe in empowering older adults by fostering independence, resilience and sense of identity. Aging is a journey that should be met with dignity, respect, and opportunities for growth. By actively listening, providing tailored support, and encouraging self-determination, I can help older adults maintain their autonomy and confidence. Resilience is nurtured through meaningful connections, purposeful activities, and a focus on strengths rather than limitations. I am committed to honoring an individual's experiences, celebrating their uniqueness, and creating environments where people feel valued and capable. I challenge stereotypes about aging and promote a vision of later life filled with possibility and fulfillment.
My name is Dave Rogers, and I have been counseling professionally for over 30 years. I have worked at inpatient and residential treatment centers for Eating Disorders, and addictions, and as you can imagine - worked with families and loved ones impacted by these extremely difficult problems. I am so fortunate to have worked with gifted teams of professionals who taught me everything I know. I have also worked extensively as an outpatient therapist since 2011 when I opened my private practice. I heard a statement early in my career that impacted my practice of therapy greatly: "People don't care what you know, until they know you care". Research continues to verify that the quality of the therapy relationship is the foundation for all the other work. So - I do my very best to make a comfortable and supportive relationship from the start, because people often come to therapy with apprehension, fear, or bad experiences with therapy that cause them to be reluctant, or hesitant to open up and address their struggles and pain. One of my early goals in therapy is to listen so well, that the client says "you get me". I do my best to help clients heal, change, grow, and work toward contentment with themselves and life, as much as possible.

Hi there! I am Stephen Kovacs a licensed clinical social worker with 5 years of experience helping adults who feel constantly “on edge” from anxiety and panic—always braced for the next shoe to drop, even when life looks fine from the outside. El poder para el cambio positivo está en usted, incluyendo las herramientas que le permiten sobrepasar obstáculos emocionales hacia el triunfo. Mi meta es ayudarle a seguir adelante y lograr sus metas.
My name is Aaron Farley, and I provide telehealth therapy to clients in Virginia. After completing my doctoral degree (PsyD) in 2010, I completed a 2 year fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients with numerous reasons for seeking therapy. I approach therapy from a collaborative perspective and work with the client to understand the unique strengths and challenges that have impacted the client's life. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help build a shared understanding of your life and goals for treatment.
I am committed to providing a warm, respectful, and client-centered environment for treatment. Please do no hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need additional information.
