Life is full of surprises, some pleasant and some not so pleasant. It is in these moments that a little guidance can go along way. Let me be there for you during your challenging moments to help you navigate through them and emerge victoriously. I am a licensed professional counselor with five years of experience including Residency. Though I use an eclectic approach, the interventions I most commonly use are Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy. One size does not fit all so understanding my clients and applying client specific intervention is very important to me. I am also clinical trauma specialist, trained in Internal family systems and EMDR. I am a firm believer of an individual's spirituality playing a significant role in their healing process. I provide Christian counseling to my clients who need it.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will get acquainted and then assess the challenges client's are facing. I provide my clients freedom to share only what they want to share and not feel pressured to given more than what they want. I do not want them to feel overwhelmed as they may/maynot have done in the intake.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am also a registered nurse and working in behavioral health department in three different countries has exposed me to diverse population. As a counselor, my ability to connect with my clients from diverse background has been my biggest strength. My encouragement to my clients is that our barriers do not have to hold us down but instead making use of them as our stepping stones to freedom. Let me help you!
