Hello, I’m Anita Wiles, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker based in Richmond, Virginia. With over three decades of experience in individual therapy, I am proud to provide compassionate and professional care to clients throughout Virginia. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University and have been a licensed practitioner since 1993. Over the years, I have supported clients facing a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse issues. I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing for more than 25 years. I have experience treating clients presenting with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Eating Disorders, Parent-Child relational issues, Family relational issues, Child Behavioral issues, among other treatment areas. I have a compassionate, caring and genuine style and can help you identify underlying issues and learn skills to promote healing and a sense of well being. I utilize a strength-based and holistic approach integrating the mind/body/spirit connection utilizing relaxation techniques, guided imagery, hypnosis and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programing). The goal of my practice is to provide coping skills in changing behaviors that will empower individuals in cultivating a more satisfying lifestyle.
