My motto is “people do the best they can with the resources they have at that time.” I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to assist clients maximize their internal resources to live a healthy and fulfilling life. My first session with Dr. Hernandez was so freeing! I spoke about things that are hard to talk about, but she made it easy with her welcoming personality and her soft approach to encourage me to say a little bit more. I feel safe with her and that's what is most important to me in working with a therapist.
