Hello, My name is Tierra Evans. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor and Mental Health Clinician. I have been a licensed Social Worker for nine years and counting. I am a Texas native and have traveled extensively. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities. My passion is to nurture and cultivate positive energy and high vibrations throughout my life journey. Services are provided within a short-term, goal-oriented framework. Treatment typically consists of 6–8 sessions. Progress is formally reviewed around session six, at which point the client and therapist mutually determine whether to conclude services, extend treatment for an additional time-limited phase, or pursue other appropriate options.
Clients should expect to be heard and supported; I strive to be consistent and empathic while providing a safe space. Accountability is key to therapeutic relationships in order to see progress.
In my pursuit of mental health treatment, I employed a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, music therapy, self-care homework, talk therapy, and numerous other approaches. My objective is to effectively challenge the client while simultaneously addressing their current emotional and psychological state.
I am best positioned to serve adults (18+)—primarily women—who are navigating depression, anxiety, and the challenges of everyday life. My clients often seek support with stress management, work-life balance, emotional regulation, and building healthier coping strategies. I also work with individuals exploring identity development, including questions related to sexuality and LGBTQ+ experiences, offering a supportive, affirming, and nonjudgmental space. In therapy, I help clients better understand the root of their concerns while developing practical tools to manage symptoms and improve overall well-being. Common goals include reducing anxiety and depressive symptoms, strengthening self-esteem, improving relationships, and creating more balance and fulfillment in daily life. I aim to empower clients to feel more in control, confident, and aligned with their authentic selves.

She entered the appointment late. Complained about another client. And then proceeded to cut me off when answering her questions. I DO NOT recommend. Her level of patience, compassion or tolerance in very low. So if youre actually in crisis, need help or desire to have a mentally sound and safe space, she's not it. She was ill mannered (cutting me off and then gaslighting me in saying g she didn't cut me off or say what she said). Definitely not safe here.
