Hello. I'm Joseph. Do you feel so anxious it is hard to leave the house in the morning? Do you feel so depressed and sad that is hard to get out of bed in the morning? Anxiety and depression are common. You are not alone in feeling this way. I help people who struggle to deal with the stresses of life. Working together, we can identify what causes your depression and anxiety and work to find solutions which will make life easier for you. It is all about finding balance. My experience allows me to help you deal with your stress, relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, or depression. Some people worry about what others will think if they seek out therapy. You are not alone. Many people deal with the same kind of things you dealing with. Therapy is a place where many people come to heal and grow. It is safe place where you can talk about whatever is on your mind and know that everything is confidential. Through compassion, empathy, and evidence-based techniques, we will find solutions for your problems and worries. Look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I will get an idea of what is bothering you. We'll run through a list of everything which is causing your anxiety and making you upset. From there, we'll look at all the causes of your stress. We'll work on a plan to deal with each of those causes and stress. This will help you come out of sessions with a plan for the week. I want therapy to be a safe and healing place which will also help you make your life a more safe and healing place. We'll work together to make life easier for you.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Over the years, I have learned many evidenced-based techniques which I find useful. I tend to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in sessions along with Multisystemic Therapy. These therapies are designed to find the cause of your stress, anxiety, and depression. From this, we can be able to find solutions for your issues outside of session. This well help decrease your stresses in life and make things easier for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of clients through my work as a supervisor of crisis stabilization and services for clients on probation. This has allowed me to work with clients who are feeling depressed and having thoughts of wanting to hurt themselves. I have also worked directly with clients who feel so angry that they want to hurt others. Because of this, I can help you navigate whatever you are feeling. You should never feel that your issues are too severe for counseling. I am here for whatever you need in session. If you need to cry in session, you can. If you need to yell, scream, or curse in session, you can. I will be here through all of it and help you figure out the causes of your depression and anger in order to find solutions which improve your life.
