My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and work toward growth at your own pace.
You carry big responsibilities, and it’s been heavy for too long.
I work with executives, founders, business owners, and high-performing professionals who balance demanding careers with the responsibilities of being partners and parents. Hi there! My name is Chinh. If you’ve reached my page, chances are that your heart has been broken, you probably just had the umpteenth argument with your significant other, or maybe you’re stuck in a frustrating cycle of self-doubt, low self-esteem, and overwhelming thoughts that never seem to let up. Maybe it’s all of the above! Whatever brought you here — I’m glad you came. Let’s work through it together.
I grew up in a culture where mental illness wasn’t something you talked about. Emotional struggles were ignored, hidden, or minimized. I was taught that sharing feelings was a weakness — that being strong meant staying silent. That experience shaped me. Today, I’m passionate about helping people unlearn those harmful beliefs and start living with more freedom, clarity, and emotional honesty. I want to help end the stigma associated with mental illness.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico, and I hold a Ph.D. in Counseling. I’ve spent years working with adults, couples, and families — helping people reconnect with themselves and each other. My approach is strength-based and holistic: I believe healing doesn’t mean “fixing” you — it means understanding you, supporting you, and helping you build the life you want.
Therapy can be hard work, but you don't have to do it alone. I offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are — without judgment. Let's rewrite your story together.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Sam Houston State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing for 10 years. My style of therapy focuses on realistic principles and understanding to one’s environment and circumstances, unconditional positive regard, and achieving goals. I am the oldest daughter of immigrants and a first generation college graduate. From a very young age I felt the weight of expectations put on to me by my family, society, and my culture. I became very good at taking on roles that were not mine, and quickly burned myself out. It wasn’t until graduate school that I really allowed myself to explore the root of my unhappiness. I needed to stop doing for everyone else and finally make myself the priority; I mattered too.
I now enjoy empowering individuals to find their voice and discover the freedom that comes with letting go of past hurt and behaviors that no longer serve them, and finally pursue the life they’ve always wanted.
With over 16 years of professional experience, I am committed to helping others find ways to be their best. I want you to be successful. Because of that, I work hard to find out where you're stuck in life and how to help you feel better. I am licensed in Colorado and Texas. I completed my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State College in Colorado where I enjoyed living in the San Luis Valley, taking day hikes on the weekends and enjoying the majestic mountain views.

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, and received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. I know at times life can seem confusing or even impossible. I believe with every fiber of my being we all have the answers we need. Somehow we get separated from our core strength. You are the expert on you, you alone hold your truth. I am interested in your story and use the description, "enlightened witness" as a way to describe some of what I do in my work as a therapist and healer. I see myself as a fellow traveler, a helper, and a companion who "holds the lantern" to help guide people to move out of dark places and into their truth. Much of the time we are living a narrative others have crafted, often driven by fear or pain rather than strength. These narratives can feel like prisons but we can heal and take back our story, and choose to see from our core. Embrace compassion, reflection and most of all self-love.
Some of my greatest joy comes from helping people move past pain into healthy and loving relationships with themselves and others. I believe suffering is inevitable but not without wisdom and growth. Sometimes seeing our strengths is difficult. Self-love must include your whole being and all parts ~ messy, vulnerable, raw and authentic. You are the velveteen rabbit and you are already worthy of your own love. You are already real.
I am licensed in Virginia, West Virginia and Texas. I see clients in these states only at this point.
FYI Please schedule on the hour only. Otherwise, I will have to call you back and reschedule. I usually offer mostly daytime hours so having the time to meet during the day is important.
Do you feel stuck, stressed, or disconnected from the people you love? Maybe past trauma, anxiety, or an addiction keeps pulling you back, or your relationship doesn't feel the way it used to. You don't have to figure it out alone. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California and Texas, and since 2015 I've helped couples and adults heal, reconnect, and move forward.
I help couples rebuild trust, improve communication, and restore intimacy, whether you're recovering from infidelity or slowly drifting apart. I draw on proven approaches like the Gottman Method.
Addiction and recovery. With 10 years in addiction treatment, including residential programs, I understand how hard it is to break free from substance use or compulsive sexual behavior. I can help you build lasting recovery while repairing your relationships.
Trauma, anxiety, and depression. If past trauma is holding you back, you can move toward a brighter future. I'm trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and CBT-I for insomnia.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate America and ran my own businesses, so I understand the stress of balancing career and family. I've been married to my best friend for 33 years, raised two children, and am now a grandfather.
I offer in-person sessions at my office in Agoura Hills, near Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Calabasas, and online therapy (telehealth) throughout California and Texas. [Call or email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.]

Hello! My name is Donyell Davis and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas. I earned my Master’s in Social Work with a focus on Services to Children and Families from Our Lady of the Lakes University. I have 14 years of experience in the social work field working with diverse populations. My clients often describe me as empathetic, compassionate, and attentive. I pride myself on being an open-minded lifelong learner with a keen interest in evidence-based practice interventions.
I chose to become a therapist because I discovered that blending the heart of a social worker with the professional skill set of an effective therapist profoundly enhances individuals’ quality of life. What sets me apart is my collaborative approach: we embark on this journey together to develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, without rushing the process.
I enjoy working through issues that I have personally experienced like being a single parent, losing a spouse and the affects it has on the family system, raising a child with a disability, work-life balance, unhealthy relationships, lack of a support system, absence of a positive role model early in life, navigating life challenges, obtaining personal growth, and communication skills.
Treat others the way you want to be treated is the motto I live by. I want to be treated kindly, I want to be heard and I want to feel I matter. This is how I will treat you, without strings or hesitation.
I have a story just as you do. I have been lucky to choose a career that has enabled me to know when I need to talk to someone, enabled me to learn and use coping skills that work and has also enabled me to see the beauty through the broken pieces.
Growing up I was a nosey child, I always wanted to know the "why", I still do! This personality trait led me on a path where I have been able to meet people from all walks of life, people who seemingly burned every bridge walked over, people with no hope as well as people who just were going through a rough patch. All these individuals have helped me become the person and the therapist I am today.
I am truly excited to hear people’s story, restore faith and be the constant in people’s lives. Give me a chance to hear your story, you are not alone!
I'm so glad you're here, taking an important step towards your well-being. For over 15 years, I've had the privilege of supporting students as a school psychologist and ten years as a licensed professional counselor, and now I’m dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate challenges like anxiety and depression. My approach is compassionate and personalized, and I’m here to support you on your journey to a healthier, more balanced life.
Hi, I’m Tamima — a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I know starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make the process feel safe, supportive, and genuine. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, be honest about what you’re feeling, and start making sense of what’s been weighing on you.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back, uncover patterns, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded and confident. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or healing from past trauma, I’m here to help you move toward clarity and emotional peace.
Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Lamar University and have been practicing for over a year. I specialize in helping teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety. Through a compassionate and client-centered approach, I work with my clients to understand the root causes of their anxiety and develop effective coping strategies. Whether you’re facing daily stress, overwhelm, or persistent worry, I’m here to support you in building resilience and creating lasting change in your life.
My therapeutic style is warm, relational, experiential, and direct. I use humor to help clients relax and feel at home where I can. One of the first skills I teach a new client is nervous system regulation. This is a gift that will pay dividends in the future. Somatic approaches are a nice place to start and helps clients to build skills in sitting with the hard moments, slowing down when needed, cultivating curiosity, and deepening their emotional experiences. I encourage self-compassion and self-love as explorations we can make slowly and together, and over time, clients find that this can become comfortable and even joy-inducing. I believe we’re called to grow and change when the strategies that once helped us survive and adapt start causing us problems. This doesn't mean we are broken or need fixing, not at all. In fact, it is those very skills that got you here, and we celebrate that. We might consider safe and tiny ways we can help move beyond old patterns of shame, guilt, people-pleasing, and self-judgment... and into a more authentic life that is a more rewarding, exciting, and consistent way of being who you want to be. Together we aim for more authenticity, more self-forgiveness and and self-acceptance as we work towards the life YOU want.
Life has its ups and downs and struggles, but you don’t have to get stuck there or suffer.
If you’re struggling right now, we can work together to make your life better. Therapy doesn’t have to be hard or scary. It can be a safe haven to explore what is getting in the way of having the life that you want. I’m a licensed clinical social worker, specializing in mental health and chemical dependency. I have a laid-back style and often use humor and metaphors to make ideas easy to grasp. I’ll help you learn new skills and make small changes that have big results.
