I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. I received my master's degree 8 years ago from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I help people ages 17-90s work through lifes events, both good and bad, to ensure they feel better all around. I also can help you work through times of grief so that you can cope better in everyday life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will have introductions and talk about the specific reasons you are seeking services so that we can tailor a plan for services that is unique to you. I would like to know you to understand your situation and why you are experiencing the symptoms that you do have.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the passed eight years I have worked with a variety of different populations, cultures, and age ranges and have developed a setting of acceptance and non judgement so that my clients feel comfortable with discussing their challenges and situations so that we can work together to get through them.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with individuals seeking help and services who want to feel better. Clients who are eager to feel better and want to put in the work to implement change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Ive been using CBT therapy in my practice for past three years. Ive been able to help dozens of clients challenge dysfunctional thoughts. We will use CBT to help you become aware of your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. Helping to reshape thoughts will lessen symptoms of anxiety and unhappiness.

Compassion Focused

By helping to develop a nonjudgmental impartial approach to develop compassion for yourselves and others to promote emotional healing and wellbeing.

Grief Therapy

We can grieve for many different reasons, including loss of a loved one, loss of your mobility, loss of a life style, and loss of a relationship among some of them. I can help by guiding you to work through your emotions and discuss your feelings to help discover ways to ease the grieving process.
