Hi there, I'm Parag.
You were not put here on this earth to suffer. You deserve to live your life with happiness and peace of mind. Mental illness and addiction can rob anyone of these precious gifts. When you turn to family and friends for support, often they don't know what to say or how to help. You can end up feeling very alone in the world.
No one wants to develop mental illness or addictions. You didn't do anything wrong. Feeling emotionally numb, mentally overwhelmed, or having thoughts like "I just don't want to be on this earth anymore" are not things that people willingly choose for themselves. They are illnesses. We often get sick through no fault of our own. Just like some people get diabetes or heart disease, some people get mental illness.
Working over five years in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, I have helped patients overcome symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, phobias, relationship problems, and self-esteem issues. My approach is to get to know you as a person and work on addressing what is really going on with your mind and your life right now.
I know getting therapy can be scary, but I will do everything I can to help you feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. Give yourself a chance to have peace of mind again.
Hello, I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of North Texas at Dallas. I bring a wealth of experience in working with individuals dealing with complex trauma and addiction, depression etc. I offer a safe, supportive space for personal exploration and growth. There comes a time in our human experience where life seems to come at us fast and cause imbalance. Often times, we struggle to re-gain that balance. We begin to feel stressed, overwhelmed, and frustrated. It may become difficult to express ourselves, maintain friendships, spend quality time with loved ones or do something as simple as getting a good night’s rest. It is during those times that we must summon the courage to seek professional help to navigate through those feelings in hopes of finding our balance.
I believe positive, healthy relationships have the power to heal. Through a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship, I will create a space for you to learn, heal, and grow into becoming your highest self and finding your balance.
I have experience working with young and wise adults on issues such as depression, anxiety, decision-making, problem-solving, establishing boundaries, and strengthening communication skills. I use various therapeutic techniques to meet the needs of each individual client. I look forward to witnessing your journey to mental wellness!
At the Child & Adult Behavior Center, we help both adults and children, as well as parents.
For adults, we help you find ways to cope with stress, anxiety, loss and depression. Not only talking through and understanding, but also concrete "what to do about it" coping skills, lead to calmer, more stable emotions and relationships. We find cognitive behavioral therapy very useful, and within that, learning the skills of mindfulness, a form of in-the-moment meditative thinking, to calm and focus the mind when emotions overtake. This fosters a new way of viewing and handling stressful situations as they arise.
For children's therapy, we work with you, and with your child. Parents' feedback is a critical part of helping children feel and do better. We help you with parent-child interactions to find your way as you navigate the seas of child behavior. Our specializations are the treatment for Aspergers/autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, emotional self regulation, the behavioral and emotional aspects of sensory issues, anxiety and depression. Our special programs also treat a wide range of neuroatypical, developmentally challenged children. Neuro-typical parent-child relationships, family relations, and parenting issues for all children and teens are also our focus. We help - you help your child - with ideas and techniques to put into action. Ideas that can greatly reduce the stress and storm of being a parent in the trenches. Peace in the home is possible!

Greetings Beloved Clients!
I am Pam C. Lyons, a Certified Professional Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor for 15 years, and 20 plus years of life experience. I understand what it means to reinvent and rebuild my life several times as a Hurricane Katrina Survivor and as a businesswoman.
My practice serves as a safe place to the Texas community and a beacon of light. The slogan “Reinvent the World” was inspired by all the shared traumatic experiences going on in the world due to Covid 19, increase in mental and physical health problems, racism, toxic politics, lack of safety for our children, poverty, economic challenges, women not receiving equal pay, women rights being infringed upon, and survivors of natural disasters. We need a space to express our traumatic experiences safely, to be listened to and understood with empathy and compassion, and to receive coping tools to become the best version of ourselves so we can create a better world for our future generations.

Part of what led me to become a therapist was my own experience of how difficult it can be to find meaningful, accessible support when you need it. Navigating my own mental health journey helped me recognize the importance of having someone who truly listens, understands, and shows up consistently. I became a therapist because I wanted to be that person for others, to help ensure people don’t feel alone or unsupported when they’re seeking help. Throughout my life, a wide range of personal and professional experiences have shaped who I am today and strengthened my ability to genuinely connect with others.
I worked in a community mental health agency, where I gained extensive experience across multiple areas of mental health. Although the work was demanding, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve individuals in various capacities and settings. That experience helped shape my clinical foundation and reinforced my commitment to this field. Along the way, I have learned to embrace my own neurodivergence and mental health experiences and use them as sources of insight, self-awareness, and strength.
I am a mother of three children, and my experiences as a parent have deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, advocacy, and emotional complexity. My oldest child is also neurodivergent and lives with complex congenital heart disease, which has required multiple heart surgeries. These experiences, along with navigating remarriage and a second journey through IVF, have given me a profound appreciation for uncertainty, grief, hope, and perseverance. They have also strengthened my capacity to sit with others through difficult, vulnerable, and emotionally layered experiences. I share this to give you a sense of who I am and how I approach therapy, and to reflect the values of presence, compassion, and authenticity that guide my work with clients.
I'm Tree, a therapist who helps overwhelmed or stuck adults find their feet again and feel like themselves. Life moves fast, and it is easy to lose your footing when you are juggling too much. I specialize in supporting busy adults who are managing anxiety and trying to set healthy boundaries. My goal is to help you regain a true sense of control over your life. I offer confidential, tailored strategies, that can help reduce burnout, manage anxiety or depression, assist with interpersonal relationships, process grief, and keep you functioning at a happy and healthy level.
The value of serving others has been evident throughout my life. Having many years of work experience, including the armed forces, has helped me become a more flexible and well-rounded individual.
My experience is across a variety of behavioral health settings including various levels of education, structured outpatient and inpatient psychiatric facilities, outreach and community mental health, managed care, and private practice promoting alternative therapies such as Emotional Support Animals as an accommodation and Hopscotch Play. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), additional credentials are Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART) and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP).
Have you ever wanted a safe space to talk and explore, unfiltered and unafraid of what the other person is going to think? Are you in the lgbtq+ community or an ally looking for an affirming therapist who gets it? Looking for a therapist who is authentic and has an exploratory style? If you've answered yes to any of these questions, then keep reading because I might be a good match for you! I am licensed in Texas with a decade of professional counseling experience.
I like to create a safe space that helps clients get curious about the root cause of why they do what they do. I help clients find more than just band aid solutions. I believe in meeting people where they are at, so I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process!
I’m not a passive therapist—I’m a guide, a witness, and a fierce believer in your healing. With nearly three decades of clinical experience, I help individuals and couples move out of survival mode and into real, lasting transformation. My work is direct, trauma‑informed, and deeply present. If you’re ready for honest, grounded therapy that actually changes your life, I’m here
I draw from CBT, DBT, somatic therapy, attachment-focused work, EMDR principles, and the Gottman Method. I integrate evidence‑based tools with intuition, nervous system awareness, and relational depth. Healing isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about remembering what has always been strong, sacred, and whole.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
I’m warm, grounded, and radically present. I don’t sit back and nod; I’m engaged. I help you understand your patterns quickly, regulate your nervous system, and build emotional safety within yourself and your relationships. You don’t have to carry your pain alone. I’m here to walk with you through the hard parts and help you build a life that feels steady, honest, and aligned.
Who I Work Best With
My clients are cycle‑breakers—smart, self‑aware people who are exhausted from repeating emotional patterns that no longer fit who they’re becoming. They want more clarity, more connection, more self‑respect, and more peace. They’re ready to stop abandoning themselves, stop settling for draining relationships, and start communicating with honesty instead of reactivity.
Treatment Goals
Clients learn to regulate their nervous system, heal attachment wounds, rebuild trust in themselves, and create relationships that feel reciprocal and safe. Couples repair connection, reduce conflict, and rebuild emotional intimacy. Individuals become grounded, confident, and capable of choosing relationships and environments that honor their worth.
If you’re ready to begin, I’m here.
I love providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families. I am also very passionate about men and mental health. I want my clients to leave feeling encouraged and relieved. I do not pretend to fix my clients problem/issue(s). The research shows that when a person has a safe space to release ans someone to contain and care, a positive hormone gets release. I am here because I care. I seek to understand and empathize. I love helping those who are stressed, ancious, depressed, weary, worrying, hurting, confused, lost, sad, or hopeless. It is rewarding to me to help others release stress, improve their functioning, and overall well-being. I strongly believe in using a holistic approach. It is my clinical perspective that the mind, body, and spirit are significant to well-being. I am very strong in my faith as a believer and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. Each individual's narrative, perspective, and voice, matters. I love helping those struggling to adapt and adjust to life stressors, transitions, and difficulties. ’ve felt called to become a therapist since I was nine years old, and that sense of purpose has stayed with me ever since. Hello, I'm Shirley, a PhD and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. For the past five years, I've been dedicated to providing online therapy to individuals, families, and couples. My practice covers a wide range of issues.
My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the person-centered approach. I strive to meet each client 'where they are' and serve as a catalyst for their unique journey of self-discovery and self-identification. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process, where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I work from a systemic, collaborative, strength-based approach that is mindful of cultural, ethnic, and economic concerns. I utilize leading psychological modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Couples Approach, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Therapy and Existential approaches. These methods allow me to tailor my approach to each client's specific needs and goals, ensuring that they receive the most effective and personalized care possible.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas, clinically licensed since 2021. I have extensive experience working with Veterans, survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV), and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life stressors or major transitions.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. Whether you’re adjusting to life after military service, navigating relationship difficulties, or feeling overwhelmed by stress, we will work together to create practical tools that promote healing and resilience.
As an African American clinician, I am deeply committed to culturally responsive and culturally sensitive care. I understand how identity, culture, systemic barriers, and lived experiences can impact mental health. I have extensive experience working with historically marginalized communities. I also provide culturally sensitive, LBGTQIA- affirming care and I strive to create an affirming space where all clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
Seeking therapy takes courage. If you’re ready to begin your journey toward clarity, emotional wellness, and empowerment, I look forward to supporting you.
