Hello Friend! Welcome to my practice, Pragmatic Solutions Therapy, PLLC!
I am an experienced psychotherapist with over 20 years. I've worked in private practice and in the clinical hospital setting and now own my own thriving practice. I have passion, dedication and ethical standards I uphold with every client. My basic mantra in life is simple: Drop the baggage and take the value. Step out of the box and if you can't change the problem, then change the way you see it with a different perspective.
Everyone at one point or another in life may experience a host of unbearable stressors which may leave one feeling stressed or 'out of sorts'. We may even describe that feeling as 'lost in a web of frustration', or even anxiousness, fatigue, sadness; as if our unique threshold is completely depleted.
Feeling anxious is normal. Feeling stressed is actually a sense of determination to gain back control, though, with temporary tiredness. Anxiousness is innate in all of us. What's not healthy is when stressors cross the threshold to what feels comfortable, interrupts our daily habits/responsibilities to 'fix things' and leaves us in solitude.
I’ll help you navigate the web of confusion to find empowerment.
My journey began as a young child whose home was a host of struggles. I have personal insight into what we all experience. Inspired by a helper, I became a psychotherapist, worked in clinical setting, garnered a vast amount of knowledge which helps me to specialize using various modalities of treatment. As a psychotherapist, I hold a high standard for myself and clients, which includes helping those dealing w/depression, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, chronic health and other issues.
Together, we'll identify what's not working, find solutions you may use to form goals without rescripting your life. Respectfully, Monica Pina
Howdy, Im a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the state of Texas. I have been working in the counseling field since 2016 after graduating with my masters in clinical psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler. I work with adults of all ages to identify their current goals and desires concerning the changes they would like to see in their lives.
It can feel like addiction is writing your story, but it doesn't have to! We all have the strength to learn how to work with our brain and not let it have all the control. My goal is to help you hone the skills needed to find that strength and to help begin writing the story of the life that you have always envisioned for yourself.
Using skills from DBT, Attachment Theory, Nervous System Training, and Solution Focused therapy I make it my goal to help people navigate the stressors that come with life whether big or small.
My specialties include, but are not limited to: substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, and trauma.
Have there been times when you feel off? Overwhelmed or stressed about your relationships, your parenting, job, school and so on? Life can take us on an emotional roller-coaster at times. It is easy to feel like everything you are doing is wrong or even feel as if you have no one to express your true feelings to without feeling judged. I am here to help, and I am committed to help my clients endure life's stressors. I am determined to give my clients the tools to overcome the obstacles that may come their way with healthy/positive approaches.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I received my master's degree from Grand Canyon University. I enjoy counseling couples (no LGBTQ couples at this time) adults, and adolescents. I have experience with working with adults and adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar, BPD, ADHD, and schizophrenia in psychiatric hospital settings. I also have a background working with families through Child Protective Services.
Hi, I am Alissa.
Have you ever felt trapped in your own brain? Feel like your emotions are running away with your life? I help individuals to learn how to control their thoughts and emotions so they are able to enrich their lives with relationships, stress, and emotional balance. I am a LCSW who specializes in anxiety, Borderline, depression, relationship issues, and emotional distress among other things. I love to work with the strength base module and a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) model. I believe that therapy is a relationship and that trust is important in order for you to get what you want and need out of therapy.
Hi, my name is Mark. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. It would be my pleasure to get to work with you! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; that means that not only do I work with individuals who experience all kinds of mental health challenges, but I also specialize in systemic, or relational therapy - working with couples, families & groups. I am a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and served as a Chaplin, at a hospital. If you want your faith included in your therapy, please let me know; your sessions will be as "spiritual" as you'd like, and no more.
I have been providing therapy and counseling since 2016, and most recently worked as the therapy manager for a clinic that has four locations. Though I have worked with all populations of all ages, young kids have trouble sitting still in front of a camera. Children under the age of 15 are better served in an office setting.
I have been with my amazing wife for over 37 years, and have two wonderful adult children. I enjoy sports, music and all kinds of "outdoorzie" stuff. I most of all just enjoy time with my family.
Most of my clients profess to sincerely enjoy working with me; I tend to connect with my clients on a deeper level, and in a more meaningful way, than some other therapists. Many say that they or their children work better with me than any other therapist, counselor or doctor they've experienced. I am humbled and immensely grateful for their kind words.
I offer my clients a soft place to fall in their hurts and struggles while providing them a firm place to stand in their healing and growth. Always, in a judgment-free way.

Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I received my master's degree from Dallas Baptist University in Counseling Psychology. I have been in the mental health field for over twenty years where I started out in psychiatric hospitals as a mental health technician, and I ended my hospital career as a Hospital Administrator. I have been a part of building some amazing clinical programs, so I know the struggles and frustrations that we all experience at some point in our life. I have been doing private practice primarily for the past 3 years and loving every moment. I really enjoy helping people through struggles at different stages of their life.
Hi, I’m Fatima. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, vulnerable, and sometimes even scary, so I strive to create a space where you can truly feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgment. My passion is helping people reconnect with themselves, heal emotionally, and build healthier relationships with both themselves and others.
I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, relationship struggles, intimacy concerns, trauma, self-esteem issues, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy helping people who feel emotionally exhausted, misunderstood, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they no longer want to carry.
My approach is warm, authentic, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. I believe healing is not about pretending to have it all together — it’s about learning to understand yourself with compassion while creating healthier ways to cope, communicate, connect, and grow. I integrate approaches like CBT, EFT, attachment-focused work, and emotional regulation tools, while always tailoring therapy to the unique needs of the person sitting in front of me.
As someone who deeply values authenticity, emotional safety, and meaningful connection, I want clients to feel comfortable showing up as their real selves in session. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and more aligned with who you truly are while helping you move toward healing, confidence, balance, and connection.

My great passion as a Health & Wellness Professional is to help you build a healthier relationship with food & your body, cultivate emotional agility to freely express yourself, & be able to communicate your needs/wants to others more effectively. While I’d love to help you improve your mental health through movement & balanced nutrition, I also understand that everyone’s starting point in therapy can look very different. It would be my pleasure in meeting you where you are in your journey to help build your toolbox of skills so that you can lead the life you deserve to live.

Clients should know that I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be your authentic self. My approach is collaborative—I don’t see myself as the expert on your life, but rather as someone who walks alongside you, helping you gain insight, build skills, and move toward the changes you want. I value honesty, respect, and openness in our work together. I may gently challenge you at times, but always with care and your growth in mind. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered, while also providing practical tools you can use in your everyday life.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. My goal is to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Together, we build self-awareness and practical tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and create healthier change. We will create a space where you can express yourself, feel safe, work on issues, and develop a treatment plan for you.
I am a licensed independent practice-level clinical social worker. I have a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work DCSW. I have dedicated my career to working in behavioral health treatment. I have worked within the Department of Defense Schools in Europe and Asia. I have worked with Active Duty members, Veterans and their families. Prior to joining the Civil Service, I practiced mental health within the civilian community, my focus there was substance abuse, domestic violence and and a variety of mental health issues working with adolescents and adults. My strongest ability lies in helping a client identify strengths and weaknesses while guiding them to identify goals and interventions that will work specifically for them. The most challenging part of therapy is believing it will make a difference. The best way to overcome that hurdle is to see successful outcomes.
Clinical experience has taught me that if you are willing to do the work, you will see results. Using the appropriate interventions, combined with mutual openness, respect and trust will enable you to overcome obstacles and achieve goals you didn't believe possible. Through years of dedicated work with all age groups, life experiences and extremely challenging circumstances, I have developed a strong sense of commitment in creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing, self-awareness and growth.
