My treatment methods

Eclectic

Hi, I’m Tera Rattler, LPC Licensed in Texas & Louisiana | Clinical Mental Health Counseling Welcome. I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can explore who you are, what’s holding you back, and how to build a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals. My approach is eclectic and integrative, meaning I draw from several evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI)—to meet you exactly where you are. My Approach I believe that meaningful change starts with self-awareness and self-acceptance. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck, we work together to explore patterns, clarify goals, and create sustainable changes. I’ll help you challenge limiting beliefs, understand emotional blocks, and access the tools already within you. CBT helps us examine how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected—and how to break unhelpful cycles. Motivational Interviewing supports self-reflection and empowers you to identify your own reasons for change, at your own pace. Eclectic integration means I personalize sessions to fit your needs, using a blend of therapeutic tools, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. Special Offerings In addition to therapy, I also offer medical marijuana consultations for Louisiana clients, where clinically appropriate. This service is offered in a professional and supportive manner, as part of a broader commitment to holistic care. What to Expect My goal is to foster a space of compassion and curiosity. You won’t be judged or rushed. Instead, we’ll work together to identify what’s important to you, what’s getting in the way, and how you can move forward with confidence and clarity.

Motivational Interviewing

Through the use of MI, we will together explore and identify your own personal goals for an improved life. I strive to assist in finding acceptance of self, and from there an improved self-esteem can elicit the changed desired.
