Greetings Beloved Clients! I am Pam C. Lyons, a Certified Professional Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor for 15 years, and 20 plus years of life experience. I understand what it means to reinvent and rebuild my life several times as a Hurricane Katrina Survivor and as a businesswoman. My practice serves as a safe place to the Texas community and a beacon of light. The slogan “Reinvent the World” was inspired by all the shared traumatic experiences going on in the world due to Covid 19, increase in mental and physical health problems, racism, toxic politics, lack of safety for our children, poverty, economic challenges, women not receiving equal pay, women rights being infringed upon, and survivors of natural disasters. We need a space to express our traumatic experiences safely, to be listened to and understood with empathy and compassion, and to receive coping tools to become the best version of ourselves so we can create a better world for our future generations.

I’m not a passive therapist—I’m a guide, a witness, and a fierce believer in your healing. With nearly three decades of clinical experience, I help individuals and couples move out of survival mode and into real, lasting transformation. My work is direct, trauma‑informed, and deeply present. If you’re ready for honest, grounded therapy that actually changes your life, I’m here I draw from CBT, DBT, somatic therapy, attachment-focused work, EMDR principles, and the Gottman Method. I integrate evidence‑based tools with intuition, nervous system awareness, and relational depth. Healing isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about remembering what has always been strong, sacred, and whole. What It’s Like to Work With Me I’m warm, grounded, and radically present. Part of what led me to become a therapist was my own experience of how difficult it can be to find meaningful, accessible support when you need it. Navigating my own mental health journey helped me recognize the importance of having someone who truly listens, understands, and shows up consistently. I became a therapist because I wanted to be that person for others, to help ensure people don’t feel alone or unsupported when they’re seeking help. Throughout my life, a wide range of personal and professional experiences have shaped who I am today and strengthened my ability to genuinely connect with others. I worked in a community mental health agency, where I gained extensive experience across multiple areas of mental health. Although the work was demanding, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve individuals in various capacities and settings. That experience helped shape my clinical foundation and reinforced my commitment to this field. Along the way, I have learned to embrace my own neurodivergence and mental health experiences and use them as sources of insight, self-awareness, and strength. I am a mother of three children, and my experiences as a parent have deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, advocacy, and emotional complexity. My oldest child is also neurodivergent and lives with complex congenital heart disease, which has required multiple heart surgeries. These experiences, along with navigating remarriage and a second journey through IVF, have given me a profound appreciation for uncertainty, grief, hope, and perseverance. They have also strengthened my capacity to sit with others through difficult, vulnerable, and emotionally layered experiences. I share this to give you a sense of who I am and how I approach therapy, and to reflect the values of presence, compassion, and authenticity that guide my work with clients.

Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I spent years specializing in trauma-focused therapy and have worked in the private practice setting as well as treatment facility setting. This year I have taken a break from in-person therapy where I specialized in EMDR to more of a person-centered approach addressing men’s issues, as well as working mainly with with First Responders, Veterans, Active Duty personnel as well as couples. I guide the client in the direction of healing or self actualization incorporating Cognitive Processing , Jungian therapy and Attachment-Based therapy. “Jungian”refers to the psychological doctrines and analytical therapy developed by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. It helps to uncover hidden forces driving human behavior by integrating the conscious and unconscious mind, ultimately striving toward authenticity and personal wholeness. Attachment Based therapy is a form of counseling that explores how your early childhood relationships with primary caregivers shape your adult attachment style. In addition to individual therapy I have worked with couples using the Gottman Method. It is a structured, research-based approach to couples therapy developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. It aims to disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy and respect, and remove barriers. If you are seeing me through an EAP or have a limited amount of therapy sessions I also do Solution Focused Brief Therapy where we don’t look at the past as much as we look towards the future and what you want to envision. With my help you can get there.

I am a compassionate and dedicated professional based in Texas, committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with confidence, resilience, and self-awareness. My background has given me the opportunity to work with people from diverse walks of life, supporting them through personal growth, life transitions, stress, relationship concerns, and emotional well-being. I am passionate about helping clients better understand themselves and the patterns that shape their relationships and experiences. My work is grounded in a systems perspective, recognizing that individuals are deeply influenced by their family dynamics, cultural backgrounds, communities, and life experiences. I also incorporate an attachment-based approach, helping clients explore how early relationships and attachment patterns may impact the way they connect with others, respond to challenges, and view themselves. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help clients identify their strengths, gain insight into recurring patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and those around them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to meet each person where they are, honoring their unique experiences, values, and goals. Whether you are navigating relationship challenges, processing difficult life transitions, managing stress, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am here to support and guide you on your journey toward healing and growth. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they cultivate stronger connections, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

At 10:23 I understand the importance of cultivating resilience and fostering healthy relationships to achieve our best life. Therapy doesn’t work when clients feel talked down to, rushed, or misunderstood. Many teens and adults I work with have tried therapy before and felt it didn’t really fit. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, I bring both clinical training and lived experience into the therapy room. This allows me to connect in a way that feels genuine, grounded, and practical—especially for teens and young adults who are skeptical of therapy or unsure where to start.

Feeling overwhelmed by day-to-day life is something many people experience, and counseling can provide a supportive space to work through those challenges. My goal is to offer a nonjudgmental, empathetic environment where we can identify your goals, work toward them together, and regularly evaluate your progress. I especially enjoy working with individuals living with chronic illnesses, as well as partners, family members, and caregivers who may also need support but often hesitate to ask for help. I also work with people who have been falsely accused and may be navigating stress, uncertainty, isolation, or difficult emotions that can feel overwhelming to manage alone.
