New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults through life’s challenges. My work is rooted in compassion, cultural understanding, and creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and heard. I have experience working with diverse communities, including immigrant and Spanish-speaking populations, and I strive to provide care that is both culturally responsive and meaningful. I believe in meeting clients where they are, building on their strengths, and walking alongside them as they work toward healing, growth, and stability.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your concerns, experiences, and goals at your own pace, there’s no pressure to share everything all at once. I may ask some questions to better understand your background and what support you’re looking for, and we’ll begin to explore how I can best help you moving forward. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable space where you feel heard, supported, and understood from the very beginning.
I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to my work and strive to create a space where people feel safe, supported, and understood. My strengths include building strong, trusting relationships with clients, providing culturally responsive care, and helping individuals navigate difficult situations with clarity and confidence. I’m also experienced in working with trauma, crisis situations, and complex life transitions, and I focus on offering practical tools and support that clients can use in their everyday lives.
I work best with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating emotional, behavioral, or life challenges. I have experience supporting clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, major life transitions, and adjustment to new environments, especially within immigrant and Spanish speaking communities. I'm especially passionate about helping young people and adults build stability, strengthen relationships, and feel more confident in managing everyday stressors.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and work on building healthier ways of thinking and coping. I keep sessions practical and supportive, helping clients learn tools they can use in real life, wether it's managing anxiety, working through difficult experiences, or improving daily functioning.
Strength-Based
I focus on helping clients recognize their strengths and I build on what's already working in their lives. Even during times, I believe everyone has skills, resilience, and support they can draw from. Together, we use those strengths to work through challenges, build confidence, and create positive, lasting change.
Trauma Informed Care
I provide trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and in control of their healing process. I understand how past experiences can impact emotions, behavior, and relationships, and I work gently with clients to build coping skills, increase emotional safety, and support healing at their own pace.
