New to Grow
I support adults who are looking to build on their strengths, develop new resources, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and person-centered, which means we work together to identify what matters most to you and create a plan that aligns with your goals and values. Life can bring challenges that feel overwhelming, especially when emotions become difficult to manage or relationships feel strained. In therapy, I provide a supportive space where you can better understand your experiences, strengthen your sense of self, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting with others. I believe that each client is the expert on their own life, and my role is to help guide, support, and empower you throughout the process. I am continually learning and expanding my clinical skills so I can bring effective, evidence-based approaches into our work together. My therapeutic style incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and EMDR to help clients build practical skills, gain insight, and move toward positive change. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy teaching dance, working out, and baking treats to share with friends and family. These activities help me stay connected, balanced, and energized, and I bring that same enthusiasm and commitment into my work with clients.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and interactive conversation. I take time to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and learn about the goals you would like to achieve. My style is straightforward yet compassionate, and I believe in creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Together, we will begin exploring the challenges you're facing and identify practical tools and strategies that can help you navigate difficult emotions, manage stress, and build resilience. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood and hopeful about the path ahead.

I bring energy, curiosity, and genuine care into each session while maintaining a collaborative approach that honors your unique experiences and goals. I believe therapy works best when clients are active participants in the process. You remain in the driver's seat, and we work together to create a treatment plan that evolves as your needs and goals change. I strive to provide both compassionate support and practical guidance, helping you build skills, recognize strengths, and make meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for you.
I enjoy working with people seeking to improve their family/partner/peer relationships, transition from college to work or changing careers, transitioning to empty nesters, transitioning to new lifestyle after an illness, adjusting to/dealing with a mental health diagnosis of a child or other family member, seeking ways to incorporate more activity/physicality into their lifestyle for improved quality of life, recognizing self-worth, newly diagnosed as ASD or ADHD
Other specialties
I identify as
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
Depending upon areas in which clients wish to improve, I focus on interpersonal skills, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, or mindfulness. It can be good to return to mindfulness periodically to see which grounding techniques are preferred for each client. Wise Mind and Radical Acceptance are concepts that I share and practice with clients often, in addition to Inner Critic and the many other skills to add to your DBT toolbox.
Motivational Interviewing
I use reflecting, active listening, open-ended questions, guiding client in values exploration and creating a hierarchy of most important personal values; the atmosphere of this being client-driven, thus client can credit him/herself for the work in creating a shift towards their goals.
