Hello, I am glad you took the time to read my biography. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has a heart for people who are looking for empowerment and growth. I personally know what this feels like and how difficult it can be. I was blessed to have people in my life to help me during my "trying times." Honestly, I still do. I am Bi-lingual, (Spanish) and have been practicing for 13 years. I have worked with teenagers, adults, and couples. I do not work with children due to my lack of training. My experience entails working with addictions and various disorders. I believe in both therapy and medication and am cultural competent to utilize as resources. My heart is working with trauma and am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe that my job is to have my clients get to the point where they are no longer needing my services. That's right, to get myself fired! I believe that we were created in the image of the Creator which means the ability to love and be loved and to have the freedom to make wise decisions which help navigate us through this journey we are on. Thank you again for reading my biography. I wish you the freedom you are looking for and believe YOU ARE WORTH IT!

Nobody comes to therapy because they need someone to tell them to “think positive.” They come because they’re tired. Tired of anxiety calling the shots. Tired of repeating the same relationship patterns. Tired of carrying things they were never meant to carry alone.
Life is complicated enough. Understanding yourself shouldn’t be. My job is to help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface and give you practical tools you can actually use long after our sessions end.
No two people are the same, so no two sessions are either. We focus on what you need most that day while never losing sight of where you’re trying to go. Some days we’ll process. Some days I’ll challenge you. Some days we’ll laugh because life has a weird sense of humor. Every session has one goal: helping you move forward.
If you’re looking for a therapist who’s engaged, honest, down-to-earth, and willing to have real conversations, I think you’ll feel right at home here.
The human experience is not something that always works based on logic. Our brains are wonderful tools that can occasionally get stuck in a survival mode that leaves us feeling helpless and terrified. We can become stuck logical loops, anxious cycles, helpless before the fear of the unknown, or in a dark depression that stops us from continuing our previous goals and fun hobbies. Our past can be a reason for this. Sometimes it might be recent events at just the wrong time. It can even be a combination of small things that seemed to always shift never going away.
My philosophy of treatment is to teach my clients how mind and body work so that they can make their choice in how they choose to live and interact with others. I am trained in EMDR, hypnosis, and IFS and apply all in working with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression and for pain management from physical illness.
A person's mind is like a garden, cultivated or left to it's own devices it will always grow. When carefully tended it is a thing of beauty, but if left alone it is a mess of weeds. In understanding the thoughts and beliefs you have about the world and how you can shape them, you can learn to thrive. With a new perspective you can change everything.

In our first session, my focus is on getting to knowing you- what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from our work together, and what may have felt difficult or painful lately. I’ll ask gentle questions to better understand your experiences, your history, your strengths and the goal you have for therapy- where you want your life to be, a month, six months, a year from now. Then we’ll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You will leave the session with a better understanding of what you are facing and I can help you begin making sense of your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and identifying the next steps toward healing. Hello, My name is Paul Bailey and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee and Connecticut. I graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I have been a licensed therapist for 12 years which I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings. I have experience working with the following issues: anxiety, anger, depression, bipolar, psychosis, family issues, and behavioral issues.
My two main approaches to treating clients are cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy. When I treat clients, we work together as a team to develop treatment goals and problem solving skills to develop solutions to their problems.
My #1 goal as a therapist is to help clients meet their personal goals and improve their quality of life. Reaching out to others can be very difficult, but it can also be very rewarding. We all face problems; we just need the proper support and tools to help us overcome these problems.
I have been working in the field of mental health for 14 years. I have experience working with a diverse range of people and mental health disorders. My professional background includes experience in the inpatient, outpatient, and intake hospital setting; non-profit agency setting; and, most recently, private practice. This experience allowed me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families utilizing a variety of unique interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, eye movement desensitization (EMDR), and sand tray. I specialize in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but I often take a client centered approach when building a trusting relationship with clients. Research shows that people who experience chronic mental health concerns have untreated trauma, which can occur from a variety of different experiences. Of course, trauma does not account for all mental health concerns, so it is important to be able to meet client's where they are at and provide interventions that are helpful to the individual needs of each client.

I work with clients who want to improve the way they experience life. The desire for better relationships with themselves and with others, and to gain a sense of purpose and meaning. I’ve always been interested in what drives people and believe that we can usually discover what is best for ourselves if we slow down, take the time to think things through, talk about it with a person we trust, and express the feelings we have in healthy ways—even the negative ones we may try to avoid. I use a number of therapeutic modalities in my practice, which connect thoughts to feelings and feelings to thoughts, enabling my clients to change and grow in the positive direction that they might envision for themselves. I work with clients who have struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship separation, internal conflict and conflict with others, grief and loss, and other transitions and adjustment issues. I have completed Gottman trainings, as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, which offers a structured approach and an emotional map for couples or individuals to learn how successful couples make their relationships last and how to handle conflict in a way that prevents damage to the relationship and helps them feel better connected to their partner. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals and couples navigate daily stressors and difficult life transitions. I partner with motivated clients who have identified troubled areas in their lives but currently feel unequipped to handle them effectively on their own. By combining a practical, goal-oriented approach with structured behavioral strategies, I help clients cultivate the resilience, tools, and actionable mindsets needed to overcome their challenges and build a more fulfilling life.

As a therapist, I understand the demands of balancing work, family, and personal well-being. I strive to create a space where you can be honest about your struggles while discovering your strengths. My goal is to help you rise, renew, and reclaim the life you deserve.
Hello and welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can take courage, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard from the very beginning. I believe therapy should feel like a warm, supportive conversation where you can slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and begin moving toward the life you want with clarity and confidence.
For more than two decades I have had the privilege of working with individuals and couples who are navigating anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My approach blends compassion, practical tools, and evidence based treatment so clients not only feel supported but also leave sessions with strategies that help them move forward in meaningful ways.
