I’m someone who understands how overwhelming it can feel to be caught in life’s in-between space, whether it’s the end of a relationship, the shift in a friendship, or the uncertainty of what comes after graduation. I work with adults who are often relied upon by others but sometimes struggle to support themselves.
As a therapist and thought partner, I bring warmth, honesty, and curiosity into our work. I believe therapy is a place where you can take off the mask, slow down, and reconnect with who you are outside of expectations and pressure. My role is to walk alongside you as you process the past, make sense of where you are now, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Helping others heal and thrive isn’t just my profession.. it’s my purpose!
Healing begins when you have a safe place to explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and discover new ways forward. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, caregiver stress, low self-esteem, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or struggling to balance the needs of others with their own wellbeing.
I especially enjoy working with individuals who are ready to gain insight into how past experiences influence their current relationships, emotions, and sense of self. Whether you are struggling with difficult family dynamics, people-pleasing, boundary setting, self-confidence, chronic stress, or navigating a significant life change, therapy can provide the support and tools needed to create meaningful change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches to help clients develop practical coping skills while also exploring the deeper patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel both supported and challenged as you work toward your goals.
My goal is to help clients build confidence, strengthen relationships, improve emotional wellbeing, and create lives that feel more aligned with their values. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more empowered, resilient, and capable of navigating life's challenges with greater clarity and self-trust.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in San Antonio, TX. I am also a retired first responder. I help clients figure out what is keeping them stuck, frustrated or unhappy in their lives. I focus on stress, grief, self-care and trauma. I enjoy teaching individuals and groups about behavioral health, and have worked with clients that have substance use issues, PTSD, anxiety and depression. I always try to meet the client where they are and help them get where they want to be.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with expertise working with LGBTQIA+ and Nuerodivergent individuals. Starting therapy can feel scary — but it can also be life-changing. You are brave, and you're not alone. I believe that therapy is ready to work for those who are ready to make the leap. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ it is close to my heart to ensure that all people have a safe, nonjudgmental place to process life's challenges. I also tend to use humor in session as a way to process stressors.

Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy in a warm, engaging interactive style, my intent is to help each person experience effective communication and personal growth in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Florida, Oregon, Kansas (LSCSW), New Hampshire, and Texas. I received my Master's degree from Louisiana State University and have been practicing for 9 years. I help adults find ways to heal their anxiety and depression, help them become more self-aware, and to stop negative thinking, so they can become the best versions of themselves. I help adults ages 18+ struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, suicidal ideations, self-harm, grief/loss, and life transitions.
I utilize a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT, CPT, DBT, ACT, Interpersonal, Narrative, Supportive, Compassionate, Grief, and various others depending on your needs. I help clients stay in the present moment (utilizing other techniques) as this can be very difficult to do in our busy lives today.
I became a social worker because I want to help people feel better about themselves and their lives. I no longer wanted to be "just an employee" and work for a large organization. I wanted to use my strengths and abilities to help others because it would be challenging and rewarding. Therapy is a form of "self-care", and we will work together as a team to address your specific challenges, goals, and needs. I am dedicated, passionate, and caring.
I also conduct emotional support animal evaluations in Florida, Texas, New Hampshire, Kansas, and Oregon. If you would like more information about me or getting an emotional support animal evaluation completed, please visit my website at instillinghopepsychotherapy.com.

Recognizing the need for help is an important first step. In fact, rather than acknowledging a weakness, it is a sign of strength. I want to help you to build on that strength to achieve success in the areas you are struggling with.
Specializing in relationship dynamics, I invite individuals, couples, and families to improve communication, resolve conflict, and build skills to manage anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and more. Christian counseling, men's issues, and family roles are additional areas of special focus I provide.
I believe in personal responsibility, the reality of options at your disposal, and your ability to make decisions that are good for you with clarity. Ownership results in liberty. I would be working with you to help things make more sense and see a path forward.

Hi, I’m Sandy Crisp. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and I help adults and teens who are facing challenges like complex trauma, PTSD, addiction and recovery, chronic health issues, anxiety, depression, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed.
Before I became a trauma therapist, I went through my own journey that included multiple surgeries and years of rehabilitation. That experience gave me a deep understanding of what it’s like to live with invisible pain -- physical and emotional -- and how hard it can be to feel seen and supported while you're trying to hold everything together. It changed how I listen, how I connect, and how I support people in their healing.
In addition to being an LPC, I’m a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. I specialize in:
• Complex trauma and PTSD
• Addiction, substance use, and recovery support
• Chronic pain and chronic illness
• Anxiety, panic, and mood disorders
• Grief, loss, and adjustment to life changes
• Co-occurring disorders
• Disability Affirming Care
• Limb Loss Support
• Navigating identity, self-worth, and personal growth
My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I blend clinical tools with a human touch because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you're navigating something recent or something that's been with you a long time, we’ll work together to help you feel safer in your body, clearer in your mind, and more connected to yourself.
Hello! I'm Julie.
Do you need a tune-up? Is your life-work balance causing issues? Do you have healthy boundaries? Do you want to enjoy your life?

IF YOU ARE MILITARY, current or retired, and have TRICARE, you can find me at Sensible Care or Talkspace.
One way or another, I want to help you.
I am passionate about helping clients of all ages have fulfilling lives. I help individuals, couples, and families who are seeking a little or a lot of help. I empower those who have no voice. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. I collaborate with you to put together a treatment plan. We'll use a whole-self approach, addressing your needs for mind, body and spirit. I use worksheets (sometimes if you like them!).

You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. BLUF: There is nothing I haven't seen. My strongest ability lies in helping a client identify strengths and weaknesses while guiding them to identify goals and interventions that will work specifically for them. The most challenging part of therapy is believing it will make a difference. The best way to overcome that hurdle is to see successful outcomes.
Clinical experience has taught me that if you are willing to do the work, you will see results. Using the appropriate interventions, combined with mutual openness, respect and trust will enable you to overcome obstacles and achieve goals you didn't believe possible. Wondering if counseling really helps? Well, I’m here to tell you that counseling doesn’t have to be complicated. It is definitely beneficial and helpful. Counseling is about building a trusting relationship with your therapist. It’s knowing that you can talk to your therapist about anything that comes to mind. You don’t have to second-guess yourself, because counseling is all about you. It’s a place where you will be understood, where you’ll be listened to, and where you will be supported. Our ultimate goal is to increase your overall well-being. I do my best to provide my clients with a safe and comforting environment where they are free to express themselves. My clients are able to explore their thoughts, current situations, address stressors, life changes, relationship conflicts, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and a multitude of issues. We can work together to set boundaries, improve relationships, increase healthy coping skills, and help you live a more joyful life.
Hey, I'm Hailey. My approach to therapy is personable and down-to-earth. We can cuss, laugh, yell, or cry in session. Through my experience in inpatient, private practice, and shelters, I have learned that the most significant change occurs with learning concepts alongside practical application. Talking and processing are important, because it helps to identify patterns and recurring themes that are causing ongoing suffering; however, we need to also be able to sustain change by applying new ways of thinking and new skills.
Hi, I'm Jennifer Burkhardt, LPC, PMH-C. I help women who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and stretched thin by the demands of everyday life. Many of my clients are carrying the invisible mental load of motherhood, relationships, work, and caring for others while struggling to find space for themselves. Whether you're navigating anxiety, pregnancy, postpartum challenges, or a difficult season of change, therapy can provide a space to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with yourself. I offer virtual therapy throughout Texas and strive to create a warm, practical, and nonjudgmental environment where meaningful growth can happen.
Children and teens are my happy place! I would never ask a client to grow and change before they are ready. Through a solution-focused approach, we move at a pace that is soothing for the individual. There is no time like the present to learn how to examine your feelings and then express them in a way that will help you flourish!
Hi, I'm Julie Este-McDonald — a Licensed Professional Counselor, Executive Coach, and doctoral candidate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology who researches burnout. I'm passionate about helping people heal, grow, and reconnect with who they are beneath the weight of everything they've been carrying.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, PTSD, life transitions, and the quiet exhaustion that comes from constantly holding it all together. I have a particular heart for women — and especially Black women — who are managing the layered demands of high achievement, caregiving, leadership, and everything in between.
My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-aware, meaning I pay close attention not just to what you're experiencing, but to how your history has shaped the way you move through the world. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you examine the thought patterns influencing how you see yourself and others, and I bring warmth, honesty, and practical tools to every session.
For clients who want faith to be part of the conversation, I'm also equipped to hold that space. With a post-graduate certificate in Pastoral Counseling, I support clients integrating spirituality into their healing — as well as those deconstructing or reimagining their relationship with faith altogether, including those navigating religious trauma.
Whether you're brand new to therapy or returning to go deeper, my goal is simple: to create a space where you feel safe, genuinely seen, and supported in building a life that feels as good on the inside as it may already look on the outside.
Hi, I’m Dr. Ebony B. I’m a licensed therapist, healing guide, and space-holder for people who are tired of being the strong one. If you’ve been carrying the weight of emotional pain, burnout, or the pressure to keep showing up for everyone else, this is your space to put it all down and just be.
I work with Black women, caregivers, and high-achieving professionals who often feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like they’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way. Many of my clients seem to have it all together on the outside but feel exhausted inside. You don’t have to keep holding it in or pretending to be okay. You deserve a space to be real, to rest, and to heal.
In our work together, we’ll move at your pace. I help clients understand what they’re feeling, where those emotions come from, and how to care for themselves with more compassion and clarity. We talk through patterns, explore your past, build boundaries, and learn new ways to cope that actually feel good to you. You’ll feel supported, not judged.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. We’ll laugh sometimes, reflect often, and create room for honesty, softness, and growth. I honor your lived experience and believe in healing that respects your identity, your story, and your values.
You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready to feel more like yourself again, I would be honored to walk with you.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't realizing something needs to change—it's taking that first step. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying so much on your own. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, explore what's been weighing on you, and discover practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and peace.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trinity University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Mary’s University, both in San Antonio. With 26 years of practice, I bring professional expertise, personal understanding, sincerity, warmth and caring to your healing journey. Whether you’re navigating life solo or in a relationship, unresolved childhood trauma can quietly shape your patterns, reactions, and relationships. As a woman of color and Army combat veteran, I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. I know from personal experience that seeking support can feel vulnerable, and at the same time, it can be one of the most supportive and life-giving steps a person can take.
As a clinician, I prioritize my own wellness and healing because I believe it helps me remain present, grounded, and effective in holding space for my clients. It is an honor to be invited into someone’s healing and growth journey, and I do not take that responsibility lightly.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy watching football (go Chiefs), attending festivals, and engaging in arts, crafts, and DIY projects. I also enjoy trying new food spots and taking time to rest and recharge. I view my work as a calling rather than just a job, and I am deeply grateful to do what I love.
