What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I will go over my qualification that allow me to provide the services. I will then allow an opportunity for questions. Next come the Mental Health assessment to determine a course of action that will be a mutually agree upon service between myself and the client.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider is that I know personally what dark adversity looks like. I've had many life experiences that, although seemingly difficult to impossible to overcome at the time, I looked into the depths of myself, my core existence to find "My Meaning". When that question was answered everything changed and I have come to understand that there is more in us than we know. If we can be made to see if, perhaps for the rest of our lives we will be unwilling to settle for less.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients identify negative thoughts that fuel anxiety, then teach them to challenge those thoughts and develop healthier coping mechanisms. This can break the cycle of unhelpful thinking and emotional distress.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing empowers clients by exploring their own desires for change. I listen attentively and reflect back the client's motivations, helping them build their own commitment to positive behavior shifts.

Attachment-based

I work to build a safe and trusting relationship with the client. This strong bond helps the client explore past attachment experiences and develop healthier patterns for future relationships.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-informed care prioritizes safety and understanding for clients who may have experienced trauma. This approach creates a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to heal at their own pace, fostering trust and reducing the risk of re-traumatization.

Somatic

Somatic therapy takes a body-centered approach to healing. Instead of focusing solely on thoughts and emotions, the therapist guides the client to explore physical sensations related to trauma. By increasing awareness of these sensations and developing tools to manage them, clients can release trapped emotional energy and promote overall healing.
