These patterns can also affect how they see themselves — leading to self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of never quite being good enough.
I’m Manuel Olvera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I specialize in helping adults work through anxiety, trauma (including childhood and complex trauma), depression, low self-worth, and relationship issues so they can feel more in control and at peace. I also welcome working with clients navigating ADHD-related challenges, especially when they intersect with emotional regulation, identity, or past trauma.
In therapy, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and elements of CBT to support healing at both the emotional and nervous system level. I also help clients explore how past wounds may be affecting current relationships. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and often work with each partner individually in addition to joint sessions — especially when personal trauma is showing up in the relationship dynamic.
