Hi there! Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I help marginalized populations heal from anxiety, trauma, and relational conflict through a holistic approach to mental wellness. Do you deal with chronic anxiety, childhood trauma, or difficulty within relationships? I specialize in utilizing Accelerated Resolution Therapy to help clients reprocess how their brain responds to past negative events that cause anxiety and stress. In our first session, you can expect me to ask questions regarding main stressors, current symptoms, some childhood background, and what your goals are for the time we spend together.

In my experience of working with clients, I help clients connect the dots between their childhood experiences, explore barriers that are disconnecting them from being their best self, and make small changes that improve their overall wellness.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or avoiding them. I'd suggest techniques such as mindfulness to increase awareness of the present moment, cognitive defusion to help clients detach from unhelpful thoughts, and values clarification to identify what truly matters to you.

EMDR

Similar to EMDR, I utilize Accelerated Resolution Therapy to help clients reprocess their trauma using eye movements without talking about the experiences, but visualizing them.

Somatic

Using somatic therapy and holistic exercises helps clients address both physical and emotional aspects of their well-being by integrating body-centered practices and connecting the mind, body, and spirit. I encourage the use of breathwork and sound healing to help the body heal on a cellular level and calm the mind. As well as suggest natural supplements to help the body regulate.
