I believe in working collaboratively with you to help you define the tools needed to overcome obstacles, deescalate situations, make better choices and negotiate positive outcomes to be the best you can be. My goal is to help you grow, regain peace, joy and healing in your life by providing nonjudgmental counseling, partnership, empathy, encouragement and support to achieve wellness.
The first session is about building rapport, me getting to know you and you getting to know me. I would like the opportunity to help on your journey. We will work together to decide identify your concerns and how to work through them together. Please be aware working on emotional issues can be painful and you may feel even worse while confronting your past and present as you journey towards wellness. During the therapeutic process you will identify troubling situations, be more aware of thoughts, emotions and beliefs about problems, identify negative and inaccurate thinking and reshape negative or inaccurate thinking by learning coping mechanism so you can move toward to wellness.
My greatest strength is follow your lead. I'm here to help you make the best decisions for you, not to judge or tell you what to do.
