(she/her)
With over 20 years of experience providing a broad range of mental health services, my current practice strongly emphasizes providing therapeutic interventions for families, individuals and couples needing counseling services, while also welcoming the opportunity to work with adolescents with behavioral and emotional challenges. Over the course of my career, I have gained experience in many elements of the mental health field. Some of those include clinical intake, general counseling, marital counseling, crisis intervention, crisis management, facilitating psycho-educational groups, and child behavior management.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
I love working with those with anxiety and depression of all ages. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
