I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Yoga teacher and Certified Personal Trainer. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in mental health literacy. I wrote a master thesis on understanding mental health literacy and stigma in hispanic women. I also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Health Promotion and Fitness) and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Texas at Austin. I have experience working with adolescents and adults, my passion is to provide support and tools to live a healthy balanced life. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, balance, adjusting to life changes and self-esteem. My treatments are based on trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy ( TF-CBT), mindfulness and motivational interviewing. I consider myself to be patient centered and encourage a whole person approach that includes physical health, behavioral, emotional and social support. I look forward to supporting you through your goals!
