Hi, I’m Carrie Allen, MS, LPC, NCC — a trauma therapist, creative soul, and lifelong student of what it means to be human. I’m licensed in Alabama, Missouri, Texas, and Florida, and I specialize in helping clients untangle the effects of trauma, stress, and relational pain so they can reconnect with their sense of self, safety, and purpose.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, combining science, compassion, and a healthy dose of humor. I draw from Trauma-Focused CBT, Attachment-Based Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (I’m trained, not certified, in CPP). These approaches allow me to meet clients where they are—whether that’s building emotional safety, rewriting old narratives, or learning how to regulate the nervous system and reengage with life on your own terms.
Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and real. You won’t get a blank stare or a “how does that make you feel?” on repeat. I show up as a human first and a therapist second—curious, grounded, and genuinely invested in helping you move toward healing that actually lasts. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences shape your present patterns, and how to build a future that feels aligned with who you’re becoming.
Outside of sessions, I recharge through writing, gaming, crocheting, and wandering in nature. I’m a proud stepmom to two amazing girls, a lover of deep conversations, and a firm believer that healing often shows up in the small, ordinary moments—cooking dinner, laughing with friends, or finally exhaling after a long day.
If we work together, you can expect honesty, empathy, and the occasional well-timed laugh. I’ll challenge you when it’s needed, hold space when it’s heavy, and remind you that you are not broken—you’re growing.
Do you feel like depression and anxiety are only getting harder to cope with as you get older?
Do you feel stressed, overwhelmed, fatigued, and irritable on a regular basis?
Do you keep yourself busy and distracted during the day only to feel the most anxiety, racing thoughts, and panic at night when you lie down?
If so, I am here to help! I offer a variety of tools including self-regulation, meditation, mindfulness, CBT, belief systems analysis, strengths-based and solution-focused approaches. I have over 18 years of experience. I am licensed to practice in 6 states. Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas.
I offer WEEKEND availability!

Welcome! I am a clinical social worker licensed in Michigan with 30 years of experience in the field and 7 years providing mental health therapy using evidenced based practices. I currently provide school based mental health services in a district with high acuity. Prior to that I was a full-time therapist for a mental health agency. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Michigan University in 1991 and my Master of Social Work from Michigan State University in 2003. I am a certified EMDR therapist and have certification in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I am trained in full model Dialectical behavioral therapy and incorporate these evidenced based treatments into my practice.
I am a licensed independent practice-level clinical social worker. I have dedicated my career to working in behavioral health treatment. I have worked within the Department of Defense Schools in Europe and Asia. I have worked with Active Duty members, Veterans and their families. I have provided clinical supervision within both the Department of Defense headquarters and at the Veteran Affairs hospital, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Prior to joining the Civilian Service, I practiced mental health within the civilian community, my focus there was substance abuse, domestic violence and and a variety of mental health issues working with adolescents and adults. My strongest ability lies in helping a client identify strengths and weaknesses while guiding them to identify goals and interventions that will work specifically for them. The most challenging part of therapy is believing it will make a difference. The best way to overcome that hurdle is to see successful outcomes.
Clinical experience has taught me that if you are willing to do the work, you will see results. Using the appropriate interventions, combined with mutual openness, respect and trust will enable you to overcome obstacles and achieve goals you didn't believe possible. Through years of dedicated work with all age groups, life experiences and extremely challenging circumstances, I have developed a strong sense of commitment in creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing, self-awareness and growth.
My name is Shavone Marie Williams-Moss, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I entered the field of social work largely because of my family background; I was raised by a single father while my mother struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues and could not perform her role as a parent.
One day as an adult in my 20's, I saw my mother sitting on a bench on the main street in Kentucky. I welcomed her into my home only to discover she not only suffered from homelessness but bipolar disorder, major depression, and substance abuse. My mother lived with me for a year, after which she passed away. This situation made me wonder, what if, in her younger years, she would have met someone who was supportive, understanding, kind, selfless, and invested in helping her be the best version of her, she could be. It was then that I decided to enter the Social Work Field. I wanted to provide help to those who could not help themselves and aid to those in need.

Good day! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy based in South Florida. Much of how we see and engage with the world stems from the experiences we have in our families. These experiences range from rich and rewarding to trying and traumatic. Although I provide general mental health services to all, my areas of specialty are couples and families working to improve their relationships.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters from the Nova Southeastern University and have been practicing for 5 years. I help young adults and adolescents struggling with life transitions, depression and anxiety. With a specialization in depression, anxiety, and life adjustments, I provide a safe and nurturing space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns without judgment.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, quick to anger, or frustrated in your relationships — you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel like something just isn’t working, but they can’t quite explain why. Often, these struggles come from early experiences where emotions were ignored, dismissed, or too much for the adults around us to handle.
As children, we learn fast: if expressing emotions doesn’t feel safe or accepted, we push them down. Over time, that emotional disconnection can turn into anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or anger that feels hard to control.
My work focuses on helping you understand where these patterns come from and how to shift them. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that feels heavy, anger that shows up too fast, or relationship challenges that keep repeating — we’ll work together to untangle the deeper story and build healthier ways of coping, connecting, and feeling.
This isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been shut down for too long.
My name is Jonathan Closner and I have been providing therapeutic and clinical counseling services to clients for over 15 years. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and also a nationally certified counselor (NCC). I hold dual a dual masters in mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy. As a therapist I utilize clinical interventions and techniques that are individualized to unique issues of the client. I have extensive training and experience in evidence based treatments such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). In addition, I am also trained in sex therapy and incorporate sex positive approaches with clients. In my experience I find that an integration of clinical modalities is often most effective and appreciated by clients.
Overall I approach my work with clients from a strength-based perspective. I believe that clients possess the strengths and resources within their lives to be successful in overcoming the challenges and problems that they face. These challenges come in the form of mental health problems, relationship issues, or other stressors that arise out of life circumstance. My commitment is to use the most appropriate techniques and interventions that allow clients to resolve problems, reduce symptoms, and increase personal strengths and skills for dealing with these issues in the future.
Clinical areas of experience and expertise include the treatment of depression, anxiety, personality disorders, sexual problems, sexual orientation, LGBTQ issues, relationships and sex, alternative lifestyles, and substance use disorders.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

Hello there. My name is Joan I have been a social worker for over 25 years. Like you, I have had my own set of challenges and believe the key to overcoming life's obstacles is learning to plan and cope. We can't control all the pain that will come our way, but we can control how we react to it. Of course, this is sometimes easier said than done and we need help. I would be honored to assist you in your journey towards a happier healthier you.
Hi. I’m Daphne, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with more than 12 years of experience supporting clients through complex emotional landscapes and mood-related challenges. I specialize in working with individuals who experience intense emotions, mood instability, trauma-related symptoms, and inner parts that often feel conflicted or overwhelmed. My approach is warm, steady, and deeply attuned offering a space where your full emotional experience is welcomed, explored, and respected.
I work primarily with adults navigating mood disorders such as depression, bipolar spectrum concerns, emotional dysregulation, trauma-related mood shifts, and identity fragmentation that can make day-to-day life feel unpredictable. If you’re seeking emotional stability, deeper self-understanding, or relief from patterns that feel exhausting or repetitive, I’m here to create a collaborative, grounding environment where you feel truly understood.
My therapeutic framework blends emotionally attuned, evidence-based modalities. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you connect with your inner parts with compassion, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build essential skills like distress tolerance and emotional regulation, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to shift unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. EMDR services will be available soon for clients seeking additional trauma-focused healing options.
Clients often share that our work together helps them experience more emotional balance, reconnect with their sense of identity, improve their relationships, and develop greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges. My goal is to honor your lived story while supporting you in building the tools, clarity, and resilience needed for long-term change.
Requests for letters, evals., or documentation outside of standard clinical care will incur additional fees not billable to insurance and must be paid in advance.
