I believe so many of us already have the capacity to become our best selves, but something gets in the way. Past experiences, anxiety, patterns we’ve learned, or ways we’ve had to cope that no longer serve us.
I work with children, teens, adults, and parents who feel stuck or held back in some way, and are ready to start understanding why. Together, we look at what’s underneath those patterns and begin to gently remove the things that are no longer helping you grow.
My approach is warm, supportive, and real. I want you to feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are, while also helping you move forward in a way that feels more aligned and authentic to you.
Therapy isn’t about becoming someone completely different. It’s about coming back to yourself, with more clarity, confidence, and the ability to move through life in a way that feels better.
If you’re ready to step into that version of yourself, I’d love to connect.
I go by "Zippy." As a Behavioral Health Consultant, I am dedicated to providing culturally grounded and trauma-informed care to individuals and families facing complex life challenges. Born and raised in Kenya, I bring a unique perspective shaped by experiences in both Kenya and the United States, allowing me to bridge cultural gaps in mental health services. I believe mental health care must honor the cultural identities and lived experiences of those we serve, as these elements are pivotal in shaping one’s mental well-being.
With over a decade of experience across child and adult mental health, community-based social work, and integrated behavioral health within a Federally Qualified Health Center, I empower clients facing trauma, intimate partner violence, migration stress, and socioeconomic barriers, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.
As a bilingual English/Swahili clinician and certified medical interpreter, I've worked closely with refugee and immigrant families from Sub-Saharan Africa, recognizing the impact of language and cultural familiarity in therapy. My experiences with pregnant women, survivors of sexual assault, and individuals under acute psychosocial stress reinforce my commitment to relationally focused, culturally attuned care.
I actively engage in community leadership, having served on Millersville University’s School of Social Work advisory board and volunteering with Grape Leaf Empowerment Center. Currently, I am pursuing a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy to enhance my ability to address complex relational dynamics affecting mental health. My goal is to become a systemic therapist integrating cultural context and evidence-based practices, promoting a model of care that is compassionate, culturally responsive, and honors the diverse narratives that shape healing as a shared journey.

Hello and welcome. I’m Beth, a licensed clinical social worker. I believe that life can be overwhelming, and we may need extra support at times to navigate it. My goal is to provide a supportive and safe place for people to work toward personal goals and improve their overall wellbeing. My approach is person-centered and strength based so your goals and strengths are highlighted in our work together. I strive to help individuals feel safe to explore the difficulties they may be experiencing regarding issues such as anxiety, depression, and coping skills. I utilize a warm, nonjudgmental, collaborative approach to provide support while exploring these difficulties.
I am a compassionate therapist who is dedicated to supporting individuals with care and respect.
Whether you are navigating a new season of life, feeling stuck, or looking for better balance, therapy can be a space to support you.
Hi, I am so glad you have decided to take a step in healing from your past.
I specialize in working with people who grew up in families where there was some type of instability or turmoil. This could have been from addiction, mental health, abuse, neglect, anger, poverty, foster care placement, religious trauma or anything that caused some form of trauma. Oftentimes times those who grew up in this type of situation feel responsible for it or that somehow they should have fixed it.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 9 years of experience. I'm passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. I have extensive experience and training working with a variety of needs including but not limited to anxiety, depression, self-injury, behavior and emotion-based challenges, trauma, problematic sexual behavior, self-esteem, and relationship conflicts.
My aim is to empower, support, and motivate clients to develop tools in the areas of emotion regulation, communication, and self-awareness to aid in reducing unhealthy behaviors, relationships, and barriers.
I work with adults who may look like they have things together on the outside but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply exhausted from carrying everything on their own. You may be dealing with anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief or loss, major life changes, identity concerns, work stress, or just the feeling that something in your life needs to change.
My approach is warm, straightforward, and down-to-earth. Therapy with me is a real conversation—not a clinical interrogation or a place where you have to say the “right” thing. We’ll work together to understand what’s happening, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical ways to move forward.
I also incorporate evidence-based approaches, including CBT, while tailoring therapy to the person in front of me. You won’t get a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling understood, but also with greater clarity about yourself and where you want to go next.
In addition to my therapy work, I also work as an ICU nurse, which has deeply influenced my perspective on stress, trauma, and the complexity of being human. That experience allows me to bring a grounded, compassionate, and realistic understanding of life’s pressures into the therapy room.
Outside of work, I value quiet, restorative time. I enjoy working out, staying active, and taking care of my own well-being. I love spending time at home with my husband and our pets, and I’m a big fan of unwinding with a good movie. I believe balance, connection, and moments of calm are essential — not just luxuries — and I often help clients explore how to build more of that into their own lives.

I have an LPC and an LMFT and have been seeing clients since 1996. I genuinely enjoy the practice of psychotherapy, and I have great respect for the clients I serve and the process in which they engage. I look forward to meeting with you!
Hi! I'm Amanda, LPC in Pennsylvania. I started my journey as a school counselor at a high school for 13 years and then transitioned into an outpatient facility. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and adults as they navigate their lives. I love learning about and connecting with others. I help support individuals with adjusting to new situations, set boundaries, feel empowered, manage the demands of life, learn better coping and implement self-care. Together we can identify what's not working, explore thoughts, feelings, and core concerns, in order to create better balance.
