Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another. I pride myself on building relationships with others, and will spend a nice amount of time fostering our relationship, so that we will be able to have the most meaningful therapeutic experience.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strength is that I am intentional about learning each client. I appreciate that no one method will work on everyone. I am able to adapt and adjust based off my clients needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a therapist who specializes in grief and loss. I enjoy being able to help others navigate all the complexities that come with grief. I have developed a series of grief journals to provide support. I have had the most experience with teenagers (14-19) and women. I have helped clients navigate a variety of things, including grief, trauma, self-esteem, anger, depression, anxiety and relationships.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

As a grief therapist, I have gradually began to lean towards a person centered approach. I recognize that grief is very different for each person and requires a certain level of autonomy. The client must have space to discover who they are and who they have become and will become throughout their grief journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In therapy we will spend a lot of time setting goals for treatment. We will identify current problems and work together to develop coping skills to help navigate those spaces.
