Hi, I am Lindsey (she/her) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all people on their journey. My goal is to meet clients where they are at, helping to create a collaborative relationship that empowers my clients in their healing! Therapy can be a vulnerable place, and it's important you find a therapist that you "click" with and feel you can open up to.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be more of a “getting to know you” type session. A large handful of questions about you, your history, your concerns, family, friends, etc. will be asked!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I absolutely love those navigating life transitions. I love being able to help guide you through a time when you’re maybe feeling stuck.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My goal is to meet clients where they are at, helping to create a collaborative relationship that empowers my clients in their healing! Therapy can be a vulnerable place, and it's important you find a therapist that you "click" with and feel you can open up to. My experience includes but is not limited to working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, integrated with strength-based, person-centered, and compassion-focused therapy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I tend to work from a CBT framework in working to identify thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while simultaneously working to reframe or correct irrational lines of thinking.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I tend to work from an emotion-based approach in working to identify and communicate feelings.

Positive Psychology

Working from a positive approach helps you see that there are positives of personal strengths that maybe in the depths of anxiety and/or depression it can be hard to see.

Motivational Interviewing

Incorporating aspects of Motivational Interviewing allows us to create goal-oriented plans to strengthen your commitment to change.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My biggest thing in the therapeutic relationship is meeting a client where they are at. If you want to cry, I’ll cry with you. If you want to chat about your favorite book, let’s chat about it! There is never any pressure to “show up” to sessions a certain way. Be you in our sessions, and I’ll meet you there!
