Hi!
Since 1991, I have worked with individuals across outpatient and inpatient settings, in homes and schools, and now through telehealth. I have assisted people with a variety of challenges--whether related to depression, anxiety and stress, panic, obsessions and compulsions, trauma. behavioral control, self-esteem, substance use, life transition, and other issues.
I believe in "possibilities thinking", goal setting, active strategizing, and frequent accounting of progress. As a long-term therapist, therapist and program supervisor, and college psychology professor, I am well acquainted with many therapeutic approaches; however, I am somewhat partial to cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation and mindfulness, and solution-focused treatment. I am also formally EMDR-trained, which can be a very helpful tool for trauma.
There are many therapy options and providers--whomever you select, I wish you the best. Remember--it’s your life, your journey … make the most of it!
Sincerely,
Rick

My role as a counselor is to guide and support you on your journey, helping you to uncover your strengths and achieve your goals. Together, we will work towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
I have an eclectic style that is influenced by a couple of different theoretical orientations. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Counseling is not a 'one size fits all' endeavor and I will take time to recognize what best suits your needs and goals.

Hi, I’m Kris. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with training in EMDR and a deep commitment to creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly heard and supported. I bring that same sense of curiosity, connection, and care into my work—because I believe healing happens best when we feel safe, supported, and truly ourselves.
As a social worker dedicated to helping others maximize their abilities, I am eager to work with others who are looking to manage life enough to feel successful for themselves through SMALL CHANGES. Recognizing that life is busy, hectic, demanding, and complicated, I am here to help you streamline aspects of your life by managing your THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, and BEHAVIORS. All behavior is purposeful. This means that we never do anything for no reason. Even when our behavior appears confusing or counterproductive to our values, our behavior has meaning and purpose. Therapy is a setting where we can gain insight about the origins of our perceptions, thinking and behavior. With clearer understanding, we are better equipped to identify factors within our control and consider alternative responses to our conditions. We gain awareness of the needs that are being met by potentially self-defeating thinking or behaviors and have a special opportunity to practice new thinking in the safety of therapy.

Welcome — this is a space where you can be honest, seen, and understood. I’m Shakea “Kea” Roper, LCSW, and I bring 15 years of clinical and life experience to our therapeutic partnership. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by cycles that just won’t shift — I see you.

I integrate evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, Brief Therapy) along with more specialized models:
Making Sense of Your Worth (MSoYW): an 8-week group curriculum developed by HALO Project where we explore and heal the internal “lies” we believe about ourselves, rebuild toward positive self-worth and secure attachment.
Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT): a structured, cognitive-behavioral system where we work through step-by-step exercises to enhance reasoning, decision-making, and a healthier identity (beyond self-destructive or impulsive patterns).
I also actively engage in community work, and I’m currently pursuing my doctorate (which continues to deepen my perspective and rigor). Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me at board game night, crafting, or spending time with family.
It’s an honor to walk alongside you. Nelson Mandela said, “Everything seems impossible until it’s done.” Let’s work together toward the possible.
I’m currently accepting clients in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, North Dakota, and Nevada.
I'm Jade Leonard, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Army veteran, and trauma informed professional who's dedicated to helping people reclaim their lives. I am the mother to 2 grown children and a grandmother. I was married for over 40 years prior to my husband passing, I now share my house with a Golden Retriever.
I went back to school later in life, and like to encourage others to do the same if possible.
My first experience in this field came when I got a job at a county mental health/developmental services program as a receptionist. I was motivated by all the great work that the caseworkers were doing to improve their clients lives. I went back to school to finish my Bachelors and finally received a Masters in Social work. I retired from the county program as a Casework Supervisor, I felt that my position was becoming more administrative, and I was missing the connections I had made with my clients.
At that time I felt it was time to work on what my original goal was which was to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I did work for 5 years with children with behavioral issues in school and in their homes.
My previous position was in a small practice in rural PA, where I learned the importance of being eclectic in my treatment approach because every clent and their situation is different , and they deserve to have a treatment plan specifically targeted to their situation

Hello! I'm Amber Romanyshyn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in PA. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Moravian College and my Master's Degree in Social Work from Marywood University.
I believe therapy is beneficial for everyone, whether you're going through a difficult time or trying to focus on self-improvement. I've been a therapist for over 17 years. I take pride in the work I do and always try to learn more by reading or attending trainings. I let clients tell me their stories and remain non-judgmental. My relationship with the client is a high priority, and I feel it's one of the most important parts of therapy. I prefer for clients to be in control of sessions but will provide direction as needed. I focus on client strengths and use a variety of strategies to help clients address the topics/issues of concern.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience working in the fields of substance use and mental health. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), with extensive experience supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, and other mental health challenges.
My approach to treatment is grounded in trauma-informed care and a strong belief in the power of self-awareness. I believe meaningful change begins when individuals take the time to understand themselves, their experiences, and how past events have shaped their thoughts, behaviors, and patterns. Through this process of insight and reflection, individuals can begin to develop healthier coping strategies and create lasting change.
While therapy can provide guidance, support, and tools for growth, I also emphasize the importance of personal commitment and motivation in the recovery process. When individuals are willing to engage in that work, therapy can become a powerful space for healing, growth, and transformation.

Hi there! I'm assuming you made it to my page because life has gotten particularly difficult and you're searching for some sort of direction or confirmation that "you are not crazy for feeling that way". We are not crazy for feeling - and therapy can help assist you in understanding why some emotions are more difficult to feel than others. Recovery is about learning tolerance; not forgetting and dismissing your experiences. I am experienced in working in both outpatient offices and inpatient hospital settings where I support clients in addressing issues stemming from generational trauma, relationships, grief and loss, life adjustments, substance use / other addictions, anxiety, and serious mental illness. I view therapy as a process that requires learning about vulnerability and accountability and then applying both for results.
I am a licensed professional counselor specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy (CRT) for individuals managing chronic pain, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), and cognitive challenges, as well as aging adults with or without these concerns.
My approach emphasizes taking a realistic and compassionate look at pain, memory issues, and other related symptoms, helping clients understand their experiences without fear or avoidance. Together, we develop a personalized plan that acknowledges these challenges while focusing on building resilience, improving cognitive and emotional functioning, and creating a meaningful, fulfilling life. I work with adults and older adults navigating life transitions, cognitive changes, and the emotional impact of aging, equipping them with the tools to adapt, regain control, and maintain independence at any stage of life.
My research focuses on women’s health, autonomy, and decision-making in medical, relational, and workplace contexts. I am particularly interested in how gender role beliefs and power dynamics can influence health outcomes, self-advocacy, and access to care. This work informs my clinical practice by ensuring that therapy remains collaborative, respectful of autonomy, and attentive to the unique social pressures women and men may experience.
I believe that true well-being is achieved through an Acceptance and Commitment towards Change. My practice, ACC LLC, takes a holistic, person-centered approach to address mental health and behavioral concerns. After over 20 years dedicated to assisting individuals, families, and groups, my goal remains simple: to empower and assist you in healing through the natural, yet often challenging, process of change.
You are not alone in this journey. Help is only a phone call away.

Hi, I’m Grace Rummel, LCSW and I own Little Steps Counseling, LLC. I have over five years of experience in counseling, including the past three years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges in a way that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering.
My approach to therapy is compassionate and individualized. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected, while also helping them build practical skills to navigate stress, emotions, relationships, and personal growth. I have extensive experience working with younger populations, but I also value the unique perspectives and needs that adults bring into the therapeutic process.
Whether you’re seeking support for a specific concern or looking to better understand yourself, I aim to meet you where you are and work alongside you toward meaningful change.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide my clients with a safe space to work through their challenges and express their emotions in a healthy way. I work with those who want to build their self-confidence and create a happier life for themselves. I enjoy making the client a part of their treatment plan and meet them where they are at.
I received my bachelor’s in psychology from Temple University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University. I have experience working in residential drug and alcohol treatment, halfway houses, mobile therapy, and outpatient therapy.
As everyone is different in their own way, I utilize a person-centered approach to meet each individual where they are. I enjoy utilizing goal setting to help each individual measure their progress and feel accomplished. I look forward to working with you!
