During our first session, we will work on building a therapeutic relationship to build trust and comfort in the therapy process. We will review your intake information and discuss what made you decide to take the brave leap into counseling. We will begin to discuss goals for therapy and steps to achieve these goals.

I believe one of my greatest strengths as a counselor is creating a space where people feel genuinely accepted and understood. I combine warmth and empathy with practical strategies to help you tackle life's difficult moments. My goal is to help you recognize that change is possible even when life feels overwhelming. I strive to help others reconnect with their strengths, build confidence and move toward a life that feels more fulfilling and authentic.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is the practice of slowing down and paying attention to the present moment without judging yourself. When we are anxious or stressed, our minds often race into "what if's". When we're depressed, we may get stuck replaying the past. Mindfulness helps you gently bring your attention back to the present, where you can respond thoughtfully instead of reacting automatically.
