Hi there! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in central-Pennsylvania. I obtained my Bachelor's from Susquehanna University and my Master's from the University of South Carolina. I have been practicing since 2019 independently, but have been working in the mental health field since 2017. I help individuals learn healthy communication skills, emotional regulation, coping skills, and processing past and/or present events to help them enjoy their lives and achieve their goals.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
The first time we meet we will review expectations for therapy and what it would look like to engage in therapy with me. Then the rest of the time we will get to know each other and discuss the specific reasons you are seeking therapy and support.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have spent the last 8 years working within the mental health field directly with individuals experiencing varying mental health symptoms. During that time I have developed a large variety of skills to help individuals learn not only to manage their symptoms in a healthy way and experience relief, but also to help individuals understand the reason for their symptoms and the role they play within their life.
Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
I love working with individuals who may feel stuck in their life or feel unsure how to move forward. My clients are eager to learn and to make strides to become the version of themselves they envision and love, but are unsure where to start or do not have the tools to accomplish this goal on their own. My clients may feel anxious, struggle to regulate their emotions, feel invalidated by themselves or within their relationships, and may feel sad at times.
