I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, and patterns that leave them stuck, even when they understand where those patterns came from. People who are used to overthinking, carrying emotional weight quietly, and trying to hold everything together while feeling disconnected internally or in their relationships. My work focuses on helping you move beyond just understanding yourself to actually living differently by building emotional awareness, strengthening boundaries, and creating meaningful, lasting, and intentional change.

Hello! I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and transitioned to private practice in February of 2020. Throughout my career, I worked closely with the Lucas County Juvenile Court and other community mental health agencies, assessing, diagnosing and treating a variety of emotional and behavioral issues. I have been privileged to have worked with adults, adolescents and children as they have navigated through various traumas and other life challenges. My therapeutic focus is based on assisting my clients by finding and maintaining a healthy Mind/Body/Spirit healing and balance. This involves using appropriate therapeutic interventions based on diagnosis to stabilize symptoms and use of coping strategies and self-care to maintain and thrive!

I’m here to help people find themselves not a new version, but often the version they miss or have been disconnected from. My work centers on authenticity, self-awareness, and helping you take the mask off so you can show up as who you are meant to be in your everyday life. I believe healing is not about becoming someone else, but about reconnecting with who you already are beneath expectations, pressure, and survival patterns. In our work together, I create a space where you can be honest, explore your emotions, and better understand how your experiences have shaped the way you move through the world. I show up as an advocate, a guide, and a collaborator supporting you as you navigate relationships, identity, emotional regulation, and life transitions. My approach is grounded, direct, and compassionate, with a focus on helping you build insight, confidence, and clarity so you can live in alignment with yourself rather than behind a mask. Therapy with me is about growth, accountability, and self-trust. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more secure in who you are, and more intentional in how you show up for your life and the people in it.

My approach is supportive, direct, practical, and holistic, looking at the whole person rather than simply focusing on symptoms. A big part of my work involves helping clients identify the beliefs, thought patterns, and experiences that may be shaping how they see themselves, their relationships, and the challenges they face. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-doubt, relationship concerns, and performance-related challenges. I also have a strong interest in working with athletes around pressure, confidence, identity, setbacks, and the mental side of performance. I'm a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field. My goal is to empower individuals to embrace their authentic selves and find comfort in their daily lives. I insist on personalizing my interventions to suit each individual's needs. I work mostly with young adults and adults (ages 18+). I believe that most of us would benefit from therapy at most points throughout our lives. We are social beings by nature and are simply not meant to struggle alone. We are our own worst critics so it takes an outside perspective of a loved one or a professional to help us recognize the strength amid chaos.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here and making this decision to try something new (and maybe a little scary!) Therapy can truly be a sacred space. It's a place that can absolutely change your life, if you allow your self the time and space to heal. My focus is to see you as uniquely you: the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly. I believe we all have inherent value and worth, and I strive to see this in every single person, including you! We may have some changes we need to make and some behaviors we have to part ways with, but through this healing journey, I want you to know how valued and loved you are. To embrace life again like we were meant to. To forgive others and learn to let go. To change what you can and find peace with what you can't. I operate from a trauma-informed perspective - recognizing how the past has changed the way we see ourselves and those around us. I look at how early life experiences impact our relationships, attachments, emotions, motivation, and joy. I incorporate mindfulness to help with regulation and utilize psychoeducation to understand that what happened in the past can't be changed, but we have the ability to pursue healing and growth regardless. I am self-pay only for couples sessions ($125/session).

Threatening or painful events can change the way we see the world and ourselves. I help clients who are feeling distressed by their past as they are trying to live their daily lives. I enjoy working with clients who need a listener to sit with them after a difficult time, and gently navigate a path to better well-being. I believe that there are many ways to heal including the use of EMDR. Never heard of it? That's okay. I'm very approachable and won't judge you. You are not alone. Let's talk!

I work with Women and members of the Queer community who struggle with negative self-talk, limiting beliefs, and the anxiety, stress, and self-doubt that come from feeling disconnected from their true selves. Through intuition, connection to nature, mindfulness, and supportive trauma and grief processing, I help clients understand their inner world with compassion and reconnect with their own wisdom. As we work together, they develop a grounded and authentic sense of self, grow their resilience, and step into personal empowerment, allowing them to live their truth and create more inclusive, meaningful connections in their communities. When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Ohio. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Ohio from Cincinnati to Cleveland! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Ohio.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Trauma and PTSD, is filtering therapists in Ohio that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
