Hi there! I'm Tammy, a clinical counselor licensed in Ohio and Nevada with over 29 years of experience in the helping profession. I'm driven by a deep passion for inspiring and providing a safe space for others to find themselves. My mission is to empower individuals who are committed to helping themselves. Ms. Harmon-Rodriguez obtained Trauma-Focused CBT and CBT through the State of Ohio. She started her career as an MH Social Worker in 2002, working with dually diagnosed adults and children, which sparked her interest in the dually diagnosed population and family systems. She has dedicated herself to her career in providing comprehensive holistic care for individuals and families. These early experiences shaped her passion for working in this industry for over 29 years.
During our initial sessions, we will examine the most pertinent issues and collaborate to develop a plan to address them in a way that helps you get clarity. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter. My therapy style is warm, humorous, gentle, kind, and interactive.
I am compassionate, dedicated, and very transparent in my therapeutic style. I feel my greatest strengths are empathy, determination, wit, and objectivity. My therapy approach is CBT, DBT, and the Gottman Method. I treat a variety of conditions, specializing in Trauma/Complex Trauma, Couples therapy, and addictions, and LGBTQ+ with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Toledo (2002).
The clients that I am best positioned to serve are those with complex trauma, addiction, family-related issues, loss/grief and adjustments, those with serious illness or medical transitions, neurodivergent individuals, the LGBTQ+, and those with depression and anxiety, ADHD, etc. I am a professional clinical counselor - licensed in Ohio with over 29 years of experience working with adults, children, and families. I have worked with clients who have a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, gender, addictions, family systems, marital/relationship or career challenges, trauma, and ADHD. My approach to therapy combines cognitive-behavioral, Gottman, humanistic, psychodynamic, and teaching DBT and CBT interventions. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

The only grief is that we can only pick 2 options above. We loved out session and feel 100x lighter than we have in a while.
