Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and Ohio with over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. My passion is helping individuals who have experienced domestic abuse, trauma, and emotional pain find healing, regain their sense of purpose, and reconnect with their “WHY.”
I specialize in supporting clients struggling with symptoms such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, low self-worth, mistrust, and hopelessness. Many of the individuals I work with face challenges in toxic or unhealthy relationships—whether personal or professional—and together we focus on breaking free from these cycles to rediscover inner strength, confidence, and direction.
My approach is grounded in the belief that your story has power. I have had the privilege of guiding clients not only through their healing process but also toward sharing their stories—some have even published books that inspire others to seek help and begin their own healing journeys.
Working with me, you will find a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can process your pain, explore your strengths, and transform trauma into resilience. I tailor treatment plans to your unique needs and honor you as the expert of your own story. While I may not always have every answer, I will stand beside you as you uncover your own path forward.
My goal is to help you heal, re-energize, and embrace your life story with confidence and strength. Together, we can transform emotional pain into empowerment and help you live with renewed purpose and clarity of your “WHY.”
I grew up in the Cleveland area and then came to Michigan where I completed my Bachelor's degree at Hope College where I studied social work. While in school I completed a field placement working as a probation officer and spent time in Mental Health and Sobriety Treatment Court. After graduation, my now husband and I moved back to Cleveland where I completed my Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Health Studies at Case Western Reserve University. While in school I completed internships with the Cleveland Clinic in their Adolescent Psychiatric Unit as well as an interdisciplinary internship at Care Alliance.
Following graduation, I worked in admissions for psychiatric and detox services for six years. I then wanted to expand my skill set and pursued a position providing therapy to health care employees as an EAP counselor at a local hospital system. I found that I really love the opportunity to get to know my clients and to walk alongside them on their journey.

Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and Ohio. I received my Masters from Capella University and have been practicing for several years. I support and assist clients who want to make a positive difference in their lives by drawing on my clinical experience, compassion, and empathy. I create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for my clients to listen and develop skills to effectively manage symptoms in order to improve everyday functioning.
My clients have laughed, cried, practiced new things, and worked very, very hard. The only thing I ask, as a therapist, is to have hope and do the work. Each client is a functioning part of a larger whole that wants to stay the same. I see no sense in blaming a person for situations they did not create; it's what each person does that counts.

My approach is a great fit for teens and women who want to have a place where they can be completely real, to unpack whatever they need to, and feel accepted by someone who truly believes things will get better. Many of my Clients have lived through serious betrayal and felt confused, absent, or unhinged by what happened. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker based in Ohio and have been in the field since 2013. I graduated from Miami University in 2013 with my bachelor's degree in psychology and worked as a case manager for a year, assisting adults with managing mental health symptoms. I also helped with medication management, and assisted with supporting them in daily living skills, before getting my master's degree in social work in 2016. Once I graduated with my Master's, I then worked at a community based correctional facility for 3 years as a mental health and addiction specialist. I completed diagnostic assessments and facilitated individual and group therapy sessions for mental health and addiction. From there, I began working at an inpatient behavioral health hospital and assisted patients there with acute mental health needs and helped to provide referrals for outpatient treatment. Since 2020, I have been working with clients doing individual therapy and have been growing my private practice. I find it rewarding to be able to work with clients long-term and get to know them as a person while meeting each individual where they are; what their struggles are, what their successes are, see progress they make in different areas of their lives, and develop a rapport that is respectful and supportive. I have been able to gain a great deal of experience over my 13 years with a very diverse background through promotion and advancement, in the mental health field, and those experiences help me to navigate my therapeutic approach to assist with being able to better serve clients while we are working together.
I am an art therapist and LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor). I have been working in the mental health and addiction world for over 20 years. I have had the pleasure of joining forces with children from the age of 3, to children the age of 87. I come from a family that has a long line of veterans and first responders. I have a strong passion for supporting our veterans and first responders but am open to partnering with anyone wanting assistance in life.
I welcome any in person sessions as I am very much an empath and thrive when I can feel each person’s emotions in person. I own my own practice, Freedom Wellness Center LLC, in Canal Fulton, Ohio. The link to my website is at the bottom of this page.
If you have Medicaid insurance, you must contact me first to schedule an appointment with me. I have had a high amount of people not showing for their appointments and had to put a hold on all new Medicaid referrals until I can speak to you in person first to ensure you are serious about attending your appointments.

Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. I've been providing outpatient therapy to clients all over Ohio for the past 11 years. I love meeting with people and finding out their personal goals and challenges and then creating a therapeutic approach that is unique to the individual and their needs. Creating a strong alliance with each and every client I see helps me to achieve this. This is what makes therapy successful!
I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and asks how that makes you feel. That’s not what most men need, especially when it feels like it’s falling apart.
I work with men who are overwhelmed, burned out, or angry and don’t know why. Men who feel stuck in their heads, disconnected from the people they love, or like they’re always one step away from snapping. Some are facing divorce. Others are trying to be better dads, partners, or sons, but they often feel like they’re failing. Many were pushed into therapy by someone who cares about them. Almost all of them stay once they realize it helps.
My approach is practical, honest, and built for the real world. I use tools from CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, plus a good dose of common sense to help you understand what’s going on and actually do something about it. No psychobabble. No lectures. Just straight talk and strategies that work.
If you're tired of feeling angry, lost, or numb, it's going to be okay. You're not broken, and you're not alone. This isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about finding your footing and getting back to who you were before life got so heavy.
Welcome! I'm Brittany Byers, LISW-S. I received by Masters in Social Work from Walden University and have been practicing since 2015. I've worked in community mental health and addiction services, but for the last 3 years, I've been doing telehealth therapy helping clients manage their mental health and addiction issues.
Enough about me. Let's take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, trauma, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life.
Welcome! I specialize in working with survivors of emotional abuse/narcissistic abuse and women in recovery.
Do you feel like you are walking on eggshells with your partner? Are you constantly belittled or humiliated by your partner and are being controlled or manipulated? Prevented from reaching out to family and friends? Together, we can break the isolation and regain your own personal power and self-esteem.
I know that reaching out for help can be challenging, and I want to commend you for taking this brave step towards healing. Together, we can work towards creating a brighter, healthier, and a more hopeful future. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
Thank you for stopping on my profile. I’m a simple person. As a therapist, I treasure every interaction. Most of my experience as a licensed counselor and working in mental and behavioral health has been working with children and adolescents - particularly those struggling to regulate emotions and manage behaviors. I believe the difference between working with young people versus people of any age is just stage of life. People develop over time but maturity -in itself- does not resolve impact from the ‘stuff’ they experience and carry throughout their lifetime. With that said, I don’t feel inclined to focus only on young people because at one point we were all young.
In therapy, I’m a person who believes in the power of relationships. I tend to lean more heavily into the power of the connection than the style of treatment used.
I’d be honored to meet you and get to know you but the bigger satisfaction in me would be knowing you found your fit. I wish you the best in your search.
I am a the widow of a veteran and a mother of 5 children. I enjoy spending time outside in the sunshine. I began my journey to become a therapist in my 40's after the loss of my husband, a veteran with PTSD. I am always working to learn more and be the best therapist possible for my clients. I would love to help you explore your life and achieve your goals!

I'm a social worker with 50 years of experience with children, adolescents, families, couples and adults. I find that people get the best results when we look at their lives as a whole -- physical, emotional, intellectual, what many people call spiritual (your most deeply held beliefs and values), and socially, as a member of your community.
I have training and experience in a variety of treatments which are evidence-based. I can also do dreamwork if this is something that is appealing to you, but I have to say up front that these, while very well known, do not have the same degree of corroboration as evidence-based practices.
I have worked since the late 70s with survivors of trauma: physical abuse, neglect, sexual assault, and combat trauma. It is a great honor to have received the trust of so many who have endured trauma, and to have been a part of their healing.
I am career Clinical Psychotherapist devoted to aiding individuals, couples, adults. teens, families, and veterans suffering emotional stress and mental health issues. My priorities focus on persons experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, relationship and communication problems, grief and trauma recovery.

I am equipped to assist you to access better tools to thrive from day to day. I have over twenty-four years of licensed counseling experience. I am prepared to assist you in the areas of addiction, mood and anxiety disorders. I am further trained as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor.
I am willing and able to address faith and spiritual issues as you would desire. I have worked many years within secular contexts so I will only address these issues as you request. I attempt to be accepting and nonjudgmental towards everyone.

Hi, I'm Brandi and I'm excited to help individuals and couples improve communication and understanding in their relationships. As a practical person and therapist, I offer strength-based brief therapy to give your relationships that attention to create change and increase that potential to be well. I've supported individuals, couples, and families from various walks of life and backgrounds for over 12 years from working with family crises as case management to professional counseling. Are you wanting a better relationship with yourself or to manage stress better? Are you tired of going in circles and ready to have more understanding in your relationships? Then let's get to work!
I am a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) with over 20 years of experience and dual credentials in mental health and substance abuse treatment in Ohio. I support adults navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship struggles, grief, and low motivation—helping clients feel safer, more grounded, and capable of change. My approach is collaborative and practical, offering both emotional support and evidence-based strategies to empower clients as they work toward meaningful, lasting growth.
I was drawn to this work by my beloved family member, who lived her life with a mental illness. Watching her courage taught me early on that healing happens in relationships—when we feel seen, safe, and supported. Outside the office, you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen, planning my next travel adventure, or getting some fresh air and exercise. These keep me grounded and curious—qualities I bring to our work.
