I am an art therapist and LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor). I have been working in the mental health and addiction world for over 20 years. I have had the pleasure of joining forces with children from the age of 3, to children the age of 87. I come from a family that has a long line of veterans and first responders. I have a strong passion for supporting our veterans and first responders but am open to partnering with anyone wanting assistance in life. I welcome any in person sessions as I am very much an empath and thrive when I can feel each person’s emotions in person. I own my own practice, Freedom Wellness Center LLC, in Canal Fulton, Ohio. The link to my website is at the bottom of this page. If you have Medicaid insurance, you must contact me first to schedule an appointment with me. I have had a high amount of people not showing for their appointments and had to put a hold on all new Medicaid referrals until I can speak to you in person first to ensure you are serious about attending your appointments.

Do you feel overwhelmed and exhausted at times from the demands in your life? Are you finding it hard to have a healthy work/life balance? Do you struggle to enforce boundaries? Are you consumed by your emotions? There's no need to continue to fight these battles alone when I can help! Individual therapy can help with many of these real life situations and more. Seeking therapy can be a big decision in life and I’m glad you are considering this commitment. I currently work full-time at the Department of Veterans Affairs and recently came back to my private practice part-time. With over 27 years of experience, I’ve helped thousands of individuals just like yourself with anxiety, depression, stress management, anger, grief, and compassion fatigue to name a few. Studies have shown evidenced based therapy such as CBT and CPT are proven to help decrease symptoms in disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, stress management, insomnia, and many more. Together, we will identify what wasn’t working for you, assess your commitment to therapy, and develop obtainable goals that will help you be your best self. I will give you tools that you can continue to use for a lifetime. And hopefully you will no longer need therapy but can rely on what you learned through therapy to help you, should you encounter a bump along this thing called "life". Anxiety & Sleeplessness Fear, insomnia, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we work towards increasing sleep time, decreasing panic or anxiety attacks or symptoms, fully understanding where overwhelming emotions stem from, and how to move towards being your best self. Relationships Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both partners and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship. Trauma and Healing Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after post-traumatic events. We work together through these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

I go by Becky and have been working with children and families since 2004. I have provided many different kinds of case management and therapeutic services in my social work career. I believe that wellness includes many factors of a person's life--mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Some of those things in your life might be in balance while other areas are not. You probably already have the ability to manage many situation or challenges with a combination of existing strengths and learned skills; we can add to those together. My enjoy using play therapy. Through play child, families, and (yes!) adults can work through many issues in their lives. The best part is all the hard work doesn't feel like work. We learn skills by playing throughout our entire lives beginning with playing peek-a-boo; on the grade school play ground; sports and backyard games; as well as board games and card games with friends. If playing isn't for you, I also provide the traditional "talk therapy" that most people are familiar. I received a specialization in Military Social Work during my master’s program at USC and have a passion for working with those, both children and adults, who have experienced trauma. Trauma can show up in a lot of different ways and look like many things. In counseling, we can use a combination of CBT, solution focused, and problem-solving therapy, along with Motivational Interviewing, trauma therapies, and Play Therapy when appropriate. Your plan, developed in your words, will be a great road map for reaching your desired destination. I would be honored to walk with you along that path. Seeking help reflects the courage and drive that you already have within you.

Hello, I’m Tomika, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervisory designation. I offer telehealth therapy services to individuals and families across all age groups, with flexible appointments including evenings and weekends. My areas of expertise include trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), both of which have proven effective for my clients. I have been helping individuals in various roles since 1995 and became a licensed counselor in 2004. Over time, I’ve learned that people often have more strength and insight than they realize. You already have what it takes to create meaningful change—I’m here to help you move forward. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervising Counselor in Ohio, as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, chronic illness, disabilities, caregivers, survivors of domestic violence, relationship concerns, and individuals in crisis. I believe that challenges can be worked through in ways that lead to growth and resilience. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help create more fulfilling lives. My goal is to help you identify what you’d like to change—even if it’s just one small step, because even one change can make a meaningful difference. My style is supportive, compassionate, and collaborative, while also offering honest, direct feedback when it’s helpful to move through obstacles and create progress.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker based in Ohio and have been in the field since 2013. I graduated from Miami University in 2013 with my bachelor's degree in psychology and worked as a case manager for a year, assisting adults with managing mental health symptoms. I also helped with medication management, and assisted with supporting them in daily living skills, before getting my master's degree in social work in 2016. Once I graduated with my Master's, I then worked at a community based correctional facility for 3 years as a mental health and addiction specialist. I completed diagnostic assessments and facilitated individual and group therapy sessions for mental health and addiction. From there, I began working at an inpatient behavioral health hospital and assisted patients there with acute mental health needs and helped to provide referrals for outpatient treatment. Since 2020, I have been working with clients doing individual therapy and have been growing my private practice. I find it rewarding to be able to work with clients long-term and get to know them as a person while meeting each individual where they are; what their struggles are, what their successes are, see progress they make in different areas of their lives, and develop a rapport that is respectful and supportive. I have been able to gain a great deal of experience over my 13 years with a very diverse background through promotion and advancement, in the mental health field, and those experiences help me to navigate my therapeutic approach to assist with being able to better serve clients while we are working together.

Hello, I'm Sherri. Asking for help is never easy. Maybe you don’t know if you can ask for help because how can you reach out to someone who might balk when you tell them you’re questioning your faith or just on a nontraditional spiritual path? What if your job is not a “typical” job and your baseline stress levels could curl toes, forget anyone understanding when you are at your breaking point? This is where I come in. I’ve been passionate about helping people find peace amid stress and chaos for years. Whether you’re navigating the weight of trauma, the daily demands of service, or simply feeling disconnected from your inner light, my role is to walk alongside you with compassion and care. My promise is a safe space for letting your walls and burdens down. I provide ethical, nonjudgmental, approachable, quality mental health treatment without fear of discrimination or overwhelming the therapist with your reality.
