Welcome, and glad you are looking for someone to walk with you on your journey. I am an LPCC-S here in Ohio and have been working in the mental health and addiction worlds for almost a decade as a therapist, graduate professor, overdose first responder, and clinical researcher among other roles. During my travels through these and other experiences, I have been honored to develop along with my clients an expertise in an array of Narrative and Somatic practices, that when combined together we have found to often be helpful when navigating many of the ways that Pain shows up in our lives.

I graduated with my Masters in Social Work and Trauma Certificate from Simmons University in 2022. I previously worked as a crisis counselor providing care to both adults as well as children and families. During this time I saw a small caseload of adult clients until 2024 before transitioning to working as a community based therapist providing care to youth with problematic sexual behaviors. In 2025 I started to build up my caseload of EMDR clients and transitioned to office based work. I am extremely passionate about my work with EMDR and will nerd out when given the opportunity to share it. I take a holistic approach when working with clients and try to bring in body based and ego state techniques as well. I like to help make my clients feel that we are on equal footing (because P.S. I am also human) and recognize that they are the expert in their life and know themselves best. I do my best to be as transparent as possible without crossing boundaries. It is my priority when working with clients is to support them in a way that helps them feel comfortable and safe to explore themselves and achieve their goals.

I am an art therapist and LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor). I have been working in the mental health and addiction world for over 20 years. I have a strong passion for supporting our veterans and first responders but am open to partnering with anyone wanting assistance in life. I welcome any in person sessions as I am very much an empath and thrive when I can feel each person’s emotions in person. I own my own practice, Freedom Wellness Center LLC, in Canal Fulton, Ohio. My goal is to help others help themselves to become the person they want to be. I’m very open-minded, non-judgmental, and caring. I specialize in DBT, CBT, ACT and trauma-focused evidenced based practices. Although I believe in an eclectic approach, and meeting my client where they're at. I want to create a safe space, that's non-judgmental for our work together. My passions are working with individuals struggling with depression, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, women's issues such as postpartum/perinatal, and advocating for those who are feeling stuck in abusive relationships of any kind. I tend to utilize humor as well. I find it to be a very healing coping skill. My biggest thing is focusing on the small things as well. I believe society forces us to look at the big things and if those don't happen right away, we give up really easily, due to instant gratification. We're all searching for that next big thing, when that small thing is right there in front of us and is just as important.

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with clinical experience serving a very diverse population after working for 5 years in crisis services for a major metropolitan children's hospital. While there, I was able to gain significant experience using a wide variety of interventions from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution focused brief therapy, and strategic family therapy to help children, adolescents, and their family's during the aftermath of their child's mental health crisis. I look forward to translating those interventions and skills to helping my clients develop coping skills, identify maladaptive patterns of thinking and behavior, improve communication with supportive loved ones, and create realistic life goals for themselves then develop a plan to reach them. I am very open to feedback from my clients as to what would be helpful for them and how they like therapy to be structured. However, I am not conflict avoidant and I gently challenge my clients to step outside of their comfort zone because I truly believe no one would come to therapy if they weren't seeking change. I also believe that therapists are "in the business of putting ourselves out of business." I don't want my clients to need me forever so I aim to help them help themselves. In my free time, I dance (tap, ballet, and contemporary as well as just bopping around to music while I cook or clean), hike, and spend time with family or friends. I love to travel and aim to do as much of it as I can. I love learning whether it is about people, different cultures, new therapy styles, recipes, styles of dance or historical events. I also really enjoy cleaning and organizing for myself or helping others with those tasks.

I have 10 years of experience as an Ohio clinical counselor: working with all ages, diverse backgrounds, and various therapeutic settings. I work from a trauma informed, but laid back, and non-judgmental lense to meet you where you are and look at your symptoms as a holistic picture. I believe in a mind, body, spirit connection and empower clients to build a more balanced lifestyle.

Hello. I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Ohio. I received my Masters from the University of Toledo and have been practicing for 14 years. I find that having clarity is vital to making changes in our lives. Why we do the things we do, often not even being aware of why we do them. Gaining insight into how our thoughts are impacting our behaviors is crucial to change. Changing the way we interact with others can greatly impact our daily functioning, reduce our stress, and improve our relationships with the people in our lives. Making these changes increases the potential for a more joyful life.

I am Cerina N. Woodall, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 11 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges, heal from past experiences, and discover their capacity for growth. I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, valued, and empowered. Life presents us with obstacles, but no one should have to navigate those storms alone. My therapeutic approach combines professional expertise, lived experience, cultural understanding, and evidence-based practices to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment. I specialize in helping clients address trauma, family conflict, low self-esteem, emotional distress, and difficult life transitions. My goal is not simply to help you manage your symptoms but to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create a life that reflects your values and aspirations.I believe healing begins with understanding, growth begins with self-awareness, and meaningful change becomes possible when we recognize our own strength.

I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. In order to make changes in your life, you have to be willing to put in the effort. It is my goal to make my clients feel comfortable and safe because this is where you are going to get the most change and progress. Coming to counseling is a very personal step. One that you should feel hopeful about. Many clients say they are nervous about their first session. To combat those feelings, I assure you that I will listen, provide a space for you to process your feelings, explore your thoughts and behaviors and provide strategies and techniques to help reach your goals. With no judgement. I seek to provide culturally competent counseling to all individuals. I will be walking with you as you process life situations and how they have affected you. I have experience working with individuals, children, families, couples, and groups in a number of settings. I look forward to working with and meeting you!

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
