My practice was born from the understanding that for people who struggle often have filled their their day to day lives with survival mechanisms: habits, actions, and thoughts that may have helped in the moment but become burdensome over time. The lasting effects of trauma can create an overwhelming sense of self-blame, leaving individuals questioning, "Am I the problem?" or "Did I do something wrong?" My practice exists to help individuals build a healthier "life worth living". Where pain, fear, sadness, anger, and memories can be honored rather than suppressed. It is a place where healthier coping skills are developed, empowering clients to create lives filled with resilience and meaning. I am a licensed clinical social worker who has six years of experience and graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a dual degree in Social Work and Nonprofit Organizational Management. Outside of work I love to travel, cook, and craft.

Hello! I’m Ryan. I earned my master’s degree in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University in 2022. Following graduation, I began working in Community Mental Health, where I spent three years in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. During that time, I had the privilege of working with a diverse range of children, adolescents, adults, and families. I also facilitated a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) support group, helping clients build emotional regulation skills, healthier relationships, and a deeper sense of self-awareness. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my two rescue dogs, practicing Muay Thai, and immersing myself in nature. I’m a firm believer in the value of slowing down and finding intention in this often chaotic, ever-changing world. As Viktor Frankl once said, “A man with a why can endure any how.” In today’s world of distraction, avoidance, and constant comparison, it’s easy to feel disconnected from what it truly means to live. Fear, doubt, and painful life experiences can cloud our path forward, leaving us feeling stuck or overwhelmed. As your therapist, I can do nothing to take away your pain; however, I vow to sit with you to endure it. I promise to do my best to assist you forthrightly, uncovering and fostering lasting resilience. I’ll offer a safe, compassionate space where we can work collaboratively to explore your story, uncover your strengths, and chart a course forward. Together, we’ll develop practical, meaningful strategies tailored to your unique experience. My commitment is to walk beside you with unwavering support as you pursue healing, growth, and clarity.

Hi there! I'm Tammy, a clinical counselor licensed in Ohio with over 25 years of experience in the helping profession. Three years ago, I realized my dream by founding Hearts To Minds, LLC, my private practice. I'm driven by a deep passion to inspire and provide a safe space for others. My mission is to empower individuals who are committed to helping themselves. Ms. Harmon-Rodriguez obtained Trauma-Focused CBT and Motivational training through the State of Ohio. She started her career as an MH Social Worker in 2002, working with dually diagnosed adults and children, which inspired and sparked her interest in the specialization of the dually diagnosed and family systems with evidence-based and cognitive-based treatments. She has dedicated herself to providing comprehensive care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This early experience ignited her passion for delving into the complexities of dual diagnosis, leading her to specialize in evidence-based and cognitive treatments tailored to individuals and their families.
