My name is Janet Muta and I am a Licensed Clinician with over 17 years of experience in mental health, behavioral issues and relationships. I treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. Being in therapy is like being on a journey, I make sure you are in the driver’s seat and I become your great working GPS, guiding you to your desired destination.
I also hold a degree in finance which sometimes comes handy when helping those who are stressed due to financial needs.
Among the treatment modalities I use are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Parenting, Contingency Management...

My name is Ashley and I have been a therapist for 11 years now. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my pets. Therapy has a lot to do with the bond between the therapist and the client. Change really can happen if the relationship is there. Most treatment methods can be fairly applicable if you develop that relationship. If you have found that to be a struggle in the past you may of had a bad connection with your therapist.
You've taken your first step into healing, and I'm here to assist you through this worthwhile journey. It might have been challenging to seek help, but by doing so you are headed towards release. I'm dedicated to uplifting those experiencing low moods, feeling misunderstood, or navigating shifts in relationship dynamics. Today is your day and I look forward to walking alongside you. Thank you for trusting me!
I’m a queer-affirming, feminist therapist who works with individuals navigating identity, trauma, intimacy, and burnout. I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ folks and women who are unpacking the stories they've been told about their bodies, relationships, and worth. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and grounded in deep respect for individual lived experience—we’ll move at your pace, toward the life you actually want.
I am excited to spend this time with you during your time of need. I believe therapy is a great tool to help you work through some of the difficulties that you face. I am a firm believer that once you have some good tools in place you will find yourself capable of handling anything life throws your way. I only will serve evening and some weekend hours.
I’m Dr. LaToya Chevelle Waddell, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor dedicated to helping individuals, families, and professionals heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of self. I specialize in trauma-informed care, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and the unique challenges faced by people navigating identity, family stress, career changes, and complex life stories.
My approach blends evidence-based strategies with compassion, empowerment, and cultural responsiveness. As someone who has spent my career supporting clients from all walks of life—including communities often overlooked or underserved—I value authenticity, transparency, and creating a therapeutic space where you can breathe, unravel, and rebuild without judgment.
I am also an educator, researcher, and community advocate who believes healing is both personal and collective. Whether you’re seeking clarity, coping skills, emotional balance, or a deeper understanding of your own story, I will meet you exactly where you are with patience, insight, and steady guidance.
In our work together, you can expect a therapist who listens deeply, holds space gently, and supports you in moving from surviving to thriving at a pace that honors your lived experience. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, rewrite narratives shaped by past pain, and cultivate emotional freedom that aligns with the life you’re trying to build.
If you’re ready for a therapeutic partnership rooted in safety, honesty, and growth—I’m honored to walk alongside you.
If you’re looking for someone who will sit back while you unravel your life's chaos alone, I’m not your person. But if you want someone who gently calls you out, celebrates your wins (even the small ones like doing laundry), and hands you actual tools (not just tissues), welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques, which is fancy for I help you identify the unhelpful thoughts doing donuts in your brain, and together we kick them out and get you moving forward.
I proudly support the LGBTQIA2+ community, and my practice is affirming, inclusive, and kink/poly-friendly. No judgment here, ever! Whether you're dealing with anxiety that won't shut up, depression that's overstayed its welcome, or you’re just trying to get it together-ish, we can work on making real, sustainable change.
You bring the honesty. I’ll bring the dry humor, the empathy, and the occasional metaphor that doesn’t totally land but somehow still helps. Remember YOU>it.

Hello! I am Shakeyla, a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, North Carolina. and Florida. I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and the owner of The Flourishing Place. I specialize in helping teens and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. My empathetic and collaborative approach empowers clients to heal, set boundaries, and flourish in every aspect of their lives.
I believe that in order for counseling to be successful we must work equally as a team with forming goals, implementing interventions, and assessing progress. In my view, to make sense of overwhelming issues it is best to break them down. Feelings and thoughts affect our behaviors and how we make sense of the world. Therefore, we must address the impact those feelings and thoughts are having on our symptoms and actions. While also diving into the root of those thoughts and feelings.
I am an experienced and dedicated professional with a rich history spanning over three decades in counseling, education, professional services, and human advocacy. With a robust background, I have accumulated over two decades of successful supervision, five years of specialized McKinney-Vento Act implementation, and a strong aptitude for managing intricate projects while promoting collaboration. My skill set encompasses adept writing, organizational prowess, effective communication, and expertise in counseling and program development.
My true passion lies in addressing the multifaceted challenges that families, adults, children, and youth encounter, especially in the realms of poverty, homelessness, substance-related issues, incarceration, and other life difficulties. Throughout my career, I've established a proven track record of forging robust partnerships and making a lasting impact. My adaptability and unwavering commitment, as evidenced by my licenses and certifications, render me an invaluable addition to any organization committed to effecting positive change in the lives of vulnerable populations.
Therapy with me is conversational, compassionate, and grounded. We’ll take time to understand what you’ve been carrying, where patterns may be keeping you stuck, and what you need to feel steadier and more connected. Sometimes that includes learning tools to manage anxiety day-to-day, and other times it means slowing down enough to process deeper and sometimes uncomfortable experiences. There will be moments when I challenge you, but I am right beside you throughout the journey.
