New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s challenges. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to help clients better understand their thoughts, manage emotions, and build healthy coping skills. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, school-related concerns, and family conflict. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences and working toward meaningful growth. If you’re looking for a compassionate and grounded approach, I’m here to support you.
Welcome—I’m really glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and uncertain, and that’s completely okay. In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other at your pace. You’ll have space to share what’s bringing you in, without pressure to have everything figured out. I’ll ask a few questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and strengths. We’ll also begin talking about your goals and what you’d like to get out of therapy. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
I bring both personal and professional experience into my work, which allows me to connect with clients in a genuine and empathetic way. My background has helped me understand the complexities people face, especially within family systems. With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. I focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring therapy to your unique needs. I strive to create a relaxed, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe being yourself and exploring what matters most to you.
I work best with adults, children, adolescents, and families who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship or family concerns. I also support clients dealing with school or social difficulties. If you’re looking for a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative environment—whether evidence-based tools or a relaxed, safe space where you can talk freely and be yourself—I aim to help you build resilience, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful change.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My primary focus is to provide attentive listening and empower clients to achieve personal growth and development. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which can be highly effective as it addresses the situation, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and outcomes. I support clients in identifying their situations, recognizing automatic thoughts, evaluating and balancing these thoughts, and practicing new behaviors that enable them to function effectively and achieve their identified goals.
Faith based therapy
I strive to help clients align their thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs with their faith values, thereby deepening their healing and understanding of meaning. I ensure that I always follow the client’s beliefs and never impose my own.
Group Therapy
Group work adds connection, normalizing, and shared growth, which individual sessions alone can't always provide.
