As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I specialize in helping individuals identify their strengths, set meaningful goals, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose. Since becoming licensed in 2004, I’ve worked with clients across a wide range of life stages and challenges, using a goal-oriented, strengths-based approach rooted in evidence-based practices. My clinical focus is on empowering clients to overcome barriers, build resilience, and make intentional changes that support long-term growth. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, managing stress, or feeling stuck, I provide a supportive and structured space where we can work collaboratively to identify what’s not working—and develop practical, sustainable strategies to help you thrive.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our initial session, I’ll take time to learn more about you—your background, current experiences, and any challenges that brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been working and what you’d like to change or achieve. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions and begin to get a sense of how we can work together in a way that feels supportive and effective for you. Together, we’ll begin developing a personalized plan that aligns with your needs and supports your progress moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and respected. I bring empathy, openness, and genuineness to each session, meeting clients with unconditional positive regard and a deep commitment to their growth. My supportive presence helps foster trust and connection, allowing clients to explore challenges with honesty and self-compassion as we engage in a process of self-exploration and personal growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults and older adults navigating life transitions such as changes in career, relationships, health, retirement, caregiving, or identity. I work well with individuals who are open to reflection, willing to challenge themselves, and motivated to make meaningful changes. Whether you're adjusting to a new phase of life or seeking clarity around long-standing patterns, I provide a supportive and structured space to help you move forward with purpose and resilience.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and developing more balanced, constructive perspectives, clients can gain greater emotional clarity and make intentional, lasting changes. CBT provides practical tools that support self-awareness, problem-solving, and forward momentum in everyday life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility and move toward the things that truly matter to them. ACT focuses on accepting difficult thoughts and emotions rather than avoiding them, while committing to actions that align with personal values. This approach supports clients in creating a more meaningful and purpose-driven life, even in the presence of challenges or discomfort.

Strength-Based

A core part of my approach is helping clients recognize and build on their existing strengths. I believe that lasting change comes not only from addressing challenges but also from identifying the internal resources, values, and past successes that can support growth. By focusing on what's already working, clients can gain confidence, resilience, and a greater sense of direction as they move forward.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify practical steps toward their goals by focusing on solutions rather than problems. This approach emphasizes clients’ existing strengths, resources, and past successes to create forward momentum. In our work together, we’ll explore what’s already working, envision desired outcomes, and develop clear, achievable strategies to support meaningful and lasting progress.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a highly effective, evidence-based approach for treating chronic sleep difficulties. CBT-I helps clients address the underlying thoughts and behaviors that disrupt healthy sleep patterns. Through structured techniques such as sleep scheduling, stimulus control, and cognitive restructuring, I work with clients to improve both the quality and consistency of their sleep without relying on medication.
